One thing about the gaps left between walls, as the outside looks the same as the inside just change the facing and it fills those odd gaps. Works on the stone pieces including fences.
I bought these and built a super cool dungeon/sewer under my base. I used the 4 pieces round grate and put a wall over it, looks great. Note that the tunnel parts can be placed on ceilings as well, not just foundations. Also, there is that annoying bug with grate hatches only opening once but it's already fixed on beta and will be in the next hotfix.
love this set, can see it being used with every other building piece to hide the dungeon set, but mostly places where there is water or where there is dip in the landscape for those larger builds.
I love the 1/4 round ceiling but no foundation to match and walls don't attach under them like most pieces. So cant build round tower at corners all the way to the ground
Also, the crenelated fences don't attach to walls without a ceiling tile. I was trying to build a round tower with the spiral staircase coming up through, so because of the staircase, you wouldn't have ceiling tiles in every quadrant. That means you can't do a 360 degree crenelation.
Thank you for showcasing this set. While it definitely has good atmosphere and a goodly number of pieces, the pieces don't seem to actually fit together so they? I don't mean that they aren't thematically linked, I mean lots of the walls have quite a bit of light bleeding thru and don't make a solid structure.
I love this set but it is very finicky for placing pieces. Also, I'm trying right now to build a tower and it works wonderfully until you get to the top. There is no way to attach a top floor (so far). I used the curved ceiling (for some reason they didn't make a curved foundation to start your towers) then I attached curved walls, then placed the spiral stairs in the middle...this LOOKS amazing...then we get to the top...now what? There doesn't seem to be a way to END at the top of say a guard tower.
Is it just me or does this set feel as if the placement restrictions are inverted with the vertical round parts? It lets me place the pieces in any rotation BUT the one that actually makes sense. I'm starting to fall into hate with this set.
Tou kinda explained it but you kept calling them foundations. Those “foundation” pieces are not foundations… they are walls /ceiling combination, they need stability and they do not attach to the ground as a foundation would. One thing you can also add into these videos is also showing the total HP of these structures.
What if someone had the old dungeon set and then buy this new one? Does it comes with a discount? This one is pretty cool, but for now im interested on the Yamatai Onsen set. Anyway, the new twitch drop got released today yay!
I loved the sewer tunnel pieces! I was very frustrated that the pieces don't like to work with other sets. It actually feels really Funcom; something I adore that has incredible potential, but the execution is absolute dog water.
@@SquirrelGamez I believe it was because I used the tunnels to build a sewer, spent hours building it all out before realizing it wouldn't allow you to place anything on top of those tunnel blocks from another set. Maybe it's because they're ceiling blocks or something, but they don't like to allow pieces to be built on top of them. It's only some of the pieces (the walls and regular floors are fine), and they may have patched them by now for all I know. It was the day they were released.
can't help but feel like the build pieces placement is so half-arsed and not tested at all, the fact you can't build truly rounded walls without a square frame (thus eliminating the point half of the time) is just lame, it's not worth the asking price compared to other games that microtransactions are present on.

Yes you have to face walls windows and frames inward.

Not sure what you mean they don't work with other sets? I have a base that's Arena on top and Lost Dungeon underneath.
