We talked to a trainer at the gym and she gave us a series of leg and hip stretches to do starting about six weeks before this awesome adventure. I got out of the saddle and walked normally, never once feeling sore. I was completely amazed at the people doing this with bad knees and one married couple had three artificial hips between them! They were a little stiff but did very well. These mules are better to ride than many horses I've ridden.

Applied for the October 2021 lottery and just hope there is a donkey that can haul my fat lard ass the entire 15 miles.
They have weight restrictions. I think I saw 225 pounds for the limit on the Grand Canyon site. Not that I ever could do something like this. 😬😬😬
