That case is so cool even if you don’t like the razor you could put one you do like in it. Would be a good travel razor obviously. I like your videos as you put more art into them and not just videos of a guy shaving. Nothing against those it just makes yours unique.

That razor looks really cool! I like the cap. It's super snazzy. Just gotta say that your editing at 1:49 when you opened the blade with those 3 shots along with those 3 strums deserves a chef`s kiss, slow clap, standing ovation, a falsetto woohoo sound, and one of those loud whistles with your finger and thumb in your mouth.
I initially thought that about the Strangelets, but then I tried one in a heavy mild razor, and I absolutely loved it. It felt like my razor was on roller skates. I now have 100 of them.
(Doug, if you're reading this, Rabid Bannana should be permanent, and you should come out with banana toothpaste and a bakelite toothbrush head that screws into your razor handles)
Thanks Lee! I’ll try them in a different razor. I’m able to get a shave with ‘em. But maybe a heavy mild razor like the 3one6 might fit the bill.

Since my comment two days ago: I tried my first and only shave using Platinum Strangelet blade. Not a bad blade, but not one of the best. Sharp, yes; but not the sharpest. Smooth enough for the shave not to feel too rough but still light post-shave irritation. A few more shaves to do until I know more.
I used it in my fat boy today and was pretty decent

I did notice your bathroom outlet near your sink is not GFCI. This must be fixed. Some old phones were made of bacalite. (Is that how it's spelt?) Great music and video.
Bakelite is the spelling. It’s on a GFCI circuit (passed inspection a few years back)
Great shave brother, the "channels" are just for appearance. They don't actually do anything. I double checked with "Dougie". He said they are there just because they look cool, I tested it and very little lather to none at all actually makes it inside. And I couldn't agree more, it is definitely worth more than $59.95 I was thinking 120 to 130ish.

P.A.A. Platinum Strangelet Blade -- Fourth shave using mild-mid aggression razor, three passes, and although very good maybe excellent shave, gave me moderate irritation. I am done now with the sample blade. My aims are: between 2 and 2.5 passes, clean close-shave, no more than light post shave irritation; and some shave count much much higher than four. This blade sample did not reach that.

I've been checking to see when these come up for sale. I'll get one but no way will I ever again use those paint scraper Strangelet blades. I'm still waiting for PAA to get the stainless steel Ascension Twist DOC razor back in stock, as I want that version of my beloved Copper Twist.

Stranglet blades do feel tuggy..
I prefer the Big Ben stainless and Big Ben stainless purple.. both are sharp enough..try again with your blade of choice and I'm certain you'll have an epic shave.

Slightly, and that is with emphasis, disappointing that you found the Strangelet Platinum blade to be not so sharp. Some people online comment that one should try more than one copy of any blade to evaluate that blade, the product. I usually do not test more than 1 of any new sample blade, but trying more than 1 copy of a blade is still a good practice. In any case, I will have the chance to try a Strangelet blade in a few days. Some RUclips commenters and presenters have said that this blade is smooth and sharp. Have you tested Strangelet blades in other razors?
Thanks for sharing. Yeah I’ve used the strangelets since they came out last year. Maybe 20 shaves since then? Usually pulling from different tucks and 6 different razors or so. I keep trying them because some people do like them. But as the saying goes your mileage may vary

Not as heavy. Not as adjustable. But great at the price point
As much as I don't support PAA anymore for their controversies. I still find your shaving reviews extremely enjoyable as they are professionally made. Would love to see you try out FLS, A&E, Stirling, or maybe Declaration grooming.
