COOK ISLANDS SCENIC FLIGHT | BEAUTIFUL Rarotonga to Aitutaki Lagoon | Air Rarotonga

- I arrive to start my journey in the South Pacific on a scenic Cook Islands flight: Rarotonga to Aitutaki, with Air Rarotonga!
Starting off in Rarotonga, the capital of Cook Islands, where I check out the famous Sunday church service on Cook Islands.
I then fly to Aitutaki Cook Islands with the controversial Sunday Air Rarotonga flight, where I get properly welcomed by his Airbnb host with a lei!
I really enjoyed this scenic flight in Cook Islands experience, especially that I had the opportunity to see the beautiful Aitutaki Lagoon from above.
Also, I loved getting lei'd!

The short flight was from the main island of Rarotonga (where one would land in Cook Islands) to Aitutaki Island.
Cook Island everything are cheep or expensive? Thanks for your video.
They are generally similar to New Zealand, and there are pockets where tourists go and those are pretty expensive

I visited in the 80s and early 90s, where it was far less "developed" than now. Might want to make another visit before the Chinese buy it like they have done in much of Africa, Western Australia, and Panama and turn it over to the PLA.

Yep Chinese definitely sniffing around but cook island land can't be bought, it stays in the family, only can be leased.
ROBERT884 Yep, family ownership is great and all, but as China has little regards for contracts (see: Hong Kong). I suspect that they will have even less respect for family inheritances. Time will tell...
cameraman655 fair enough but I doubt locals will stand around and do nothing, this is generations of family, you would be surprised how many people go out fishing and never come back.
