- One of the best things about slowing down to the pace of island life means that laid back days seem to just naturally evolve into meeting locals, playing with the kids and exploring the island (at just the right pace).
We hired scooters and spent today exploring the inland roads of the island, visiting one of the local schools, admiring the harbour and learning about the history of the island.

Hi Elizabeth, we are here at the moment and were in Aitutaki last month. It is definitely an amazing place to visit - if you get the chance I would say, do it! 🙂
