Just hit level 4 yesterday sales are starting to pick up what do you mean by floor price like listing all your cards for that amount or only listing cards above that value?
Floor price is the price you’ll set for yourself as the lowest price you’ll have in your store. Example, you have a card worth 0.20 (market value)… but your floor price is 0.30… so you list that 0.20 for 0.30 in your store.
20 cents is what I currently use , but most likely increasing to 25. It might be slow at first but my current inventory is 16k and the more variety the better.
I sold a lot of cards around the $0.50 to get to level 4, depends on how much of a loss you want to take early on for it lol. I can make a video on how to get to level 4 soon also!
yeah even 50 cards is over 3 oz so they gotta use them package labels. I still dont understand it myself, i hope someone can explain how they moving 100+ for .01 using direct
In order to fulfill the Restock Instruction (RI) provided by TCG Direct, they require you to reach over $300 in sales through their platform. The number of cards you need to send will vary depending on your sales volume. For example, in my recent sale of 676 cards, I paid just under $8 for shipping via Pirate Ship to TCG Direct. It’s important to note that TCG Direct charges a 50% fee on any cards priced under $3.00. For instance, if a card is priced at $0.04, you would only receive $0.02 after the fee. To mitigate this, I avoid listing cards priced at $0.01, and I typically sell them for no less than $0.04 each.
yea this is why ive only been messing with 1 dollar plus cards on ebay for all my bulk under a dollar im just gonna make like card packs of 18-25 cards and sell them like that so i can still charge like 4-5 bucks
That's not a bad idea, get rid of them in larger packs... probably make out pretty good considering all of the fees and packing material you'd need to ship those orders.
@@TNCards yea but i think itll be a little fun making my own packs but you can always charge for shipping and people will pay it. Im also fortunate enough to work for a company that does a lot of shipping so i can get a lot of my supplies for free right now so thats nice. What are for fees on tcg player per card?
Most stores break even/lose money on singles. But if you notice with direct sellers. They offer free shipping on a threshold. That is what drives profits. But you can't do that with a narrow inventory. I also think you're eating into your profits by going pro too early. If your inventory is
I noticed it's free shipping on orders over $50. I wonder if there's a way to increase the threshold to free shipping on sales over $10. I feel like that would be a good threshold for my shop. I hear what you're saying, but the massprice feature just makes it worth it to me due to my limited amount of time I have to dedicate to the card shop.
@@TNCards yeah brother I hear that, time is a killer for us all. To your first point, yeah that could work. I'm not sure how to implement it, you could try reaching out to TCGplayer support and see what they say. Also have you considered looking at their Growth Acceleration Program, they hook you up with a coach to help guide you through things.

@ so are you listing bulk cards say market price for .7 cents or that range at 30 cents or not listing them at all

Yeah, I'd rather fewer sales than taking more losing sales just for sale volume.
@flavortownhero maybe I should of been more patient and left it at 20. I had about the same amount of cards in my inventory. Now it's 19k.
I learned this in the beginning of level 4, Never again.
What's your floor price now?
@@TNCards 15 cents, I experimented first with 20 cents but very to little sales and when I moved down to 15 that's when it really picked up.
@@TNCards How much do you have in your inventory?
I still only have a little over 100… haven’t been listing much recently due to a lack of time :(
@@TNCards Im with you, im almost done entering a box full and it's been 3 days. Its time consuming I agree, especially for a father like me.
does it make sense to do it to hit level 4 and take that 100$ los JUST to speedrun to level 4?????

$1 sale with $4-5 cost of shipping and FEES! I don't get it lol

If you raise your floor too high you will not make any sales.
True, but I’d rather get less sales than have to pack a $0.05 profit order!
My floor is.49 and I'm not having any issues at all.
That’s awesome! How many cards do you have listed?
23,445 and about 15k more to add
@TheBearNecessiTCG oh wow! You in direct or nah?

I have sent you an email. To discuss tcg direct with you if you are interested in knowing more.
I’ll have to take a look!

@@TNCards I am also interested. I have been thinking of starting a card shop to sell off bulk.
