I have a very small inventory to some (still around 100) and haven't had much time to be able to list... so I'm not a good example of this. I have only sold cards are market value so far... but there was another comment on one of my other videos where a seller had their floor price at $0.49 and they didn't have issues with sales (I think they had around 20Kish cards listed).

@@dubltapz7360 That's what the seller said! I was on other thread about floor prices and he said he didn't have any issues with that floor price. Could experiment and see what happens!

Floor price is the price you’ll set for yourself as the lowest price you’ll have in your store. Example, you have a card worth 0.20 (market value)… but your floor price is 0.30… so you list that 0.20 for 0.30 in your store.

@ so are you listing bulk cards say market price for .7 cents or that range at 30 cents or not listing them at all

I sold a lot of cards around the $0.50 to get to level 4, depends on how much of a loss you want to take early on for it lol. I can make a video on how to get to level 4 soon also!

I noticed it's free shipping on orders over $50. I wonder if there's a way to increase the threshold to free shipping on sales over $10. I feel like that would be a good threshold for my shop. I hear what you're saying, but the massprice feature just makes it worth it to me due to my limited amount of time I have to dedicate to the card shop.

@@TNCards yeah brother I hear that, time is a killer for us all. To your first point, yeah that could work. I'm not sure how to implement it, you could try reaching out to TCGplayer support and see what they say. Also have you considered looking at their Growth Acceleration Program, they hook you up with a coach to help guide you through things.

Yeah, I'd rather fewer sales than taking more losing sales just for sale volume.

In order to fulfill the Restock Instruction (RI) provided by TCG Direct, they require you to reach over $300 in sales through their platform. The number of cards you need to send will vary depending on your sales volume. For example, in my recent sale of 676 cards, I paid just under $8 for shipping via Pirate Ship to TCG Direct. It’s important to note that TCG Direct charges a 50% fee on any cards priced under $3.00. For instance, if a card is priced at $0.04, you would only receive $0.02 after the fee. To mitigate this, I avoid listing cards priced at $0.01, and I typically sell them for no less than $0.04 each.

That's not a bad idea, get rid of them in larger packs... probably make out pretty good considering all of the fees and packing material you'd need to ship those orders.

@@TNCards yea but i think itll be a little fun making my own packs but you can always charge for shipping and people will pay it. Im also fortunate enough to work for a company that does a lot of shipping so i can get a lot of my supplies for free right now so thats nice. What are for fees on tcg player per card?

@@TNCards 15 cents, I experimented first with 20 cents but very to little sales and when I moved down to 15 that's when it really picked up.

@ wat about printer ?

I have a thermal printer and an HP printer, if you're just getting started... I would recommend getting the cheapest printer you can find at Walmart... that's what I did until I decided to continue with online sales and bought a thermal printer.

Can you tell me why? Not arguing, just curious. Also, any addition feedback from the community would be great!

@ oh no worries TNC! Happy to say, when the light hit the face of that card in your video it looked like it had been in a bulk box at a store and handled 100times by kids eating sticky sweeets lol, also even in the video i could see the marks from VERY much handling, if i could see that in the video it has to be much worse in real life or in a 4k photo with good lighting

The marks i thought i saw(and im only human i could be wrong and will admit that) come from being handled without a sleeve and shuffled through endless amount of times, light play to me is basically NM with a few visable marks or dings, the marks on the card came from massive amounts of play

Also i beleive when dealing with TCG you build a rep based on how acurate you are with your card own personal card grading, so best to err on the side of caution.

Yep, it was commons/uncommons! I guess I'm fortunate to have some buyers in my area looking for these. Don't know if I'll have repeat buyers, but we will see!

@@TNCards repeat customers would be amazing. But I did go through what you spoke about in the end of your video. I had made 50 card bulk pokémon lots for someone. There was a guaranteed hit card in each pack that I made. They ended up not showing and only after I messaged them an hour later asking if they were going to come or not that they say that they couldn't make it. I never trust people on Facebook to show because of how often people don't show up.

@@Keone_Games Ghosting with FB sales is insane... I swear it happens at least once every time i try to sell a different item on FB. That's why I'm nervous every time I get an FB sale!

@TNCards yeah I may, but I think you may have more experience than I do. I'll have to learn how to edit videos. Right now all of my videos are in one take. I would like to be able to switch between my laptop and phone when recording. But your channel was one of the first ones I came across. I think it was on your other main channel where I had watched you starting at level one about a year ago?

@@Keone_Games Very possible! I tried selling on TCG a while ago and stopped because I got too busy... but thought I'd give it one more shot and document along the way. You should try editing with Capcut, I edit with my phone and am able to on the go whenever I have a minute!

I swear I’ve seen non-direct sellers up there before too. Maybe when direct sellers don’t have the inventory of the card?

@TNCards When the card isn't available in direct the lowest priced card with the filters you set will appear there. But there has been a couple times where I have noticed non direct sellers above the lowest price with 3.99 shipping on there. Not sure if those times the names just weren't being highlighted or if it was some type of glitch

I do have other RUclips channels and one of them is a How to channel. I’m not sure if you’re asking if it’s possible to grow a channel without prior knowledge or if it’s possible to get sales without YT traffic, so I’ll answer both! I think it’s possible to grow a channel without any prior experience in this niche. I haven’t done anything to try to grow this channel other than just making videos. I don’t have a huge following or have pushed this channel with my other channels. Most of the views is from browse, which means YT is putting my videos on people’s home page. So most of the growth is organic growth and I believe anything could grow a channel like this if they do it right. I make videos tracking the growth of this channel (and other channels) on my other channel (playlist is on my page if you wanted to take a look). The sales that I have gotten from my TCG profile is from players on TCGplayer. I don’t even link my store on here yet, just to give people an idea of what it’s like selling without a RUclips channel… but I think it’s a good idea to pair both for an extra revenue source for the TCG business. @@TNCardsit’s a online selling platform. Like WhatNot. Think of eBay auctions but live. And people have gotten creative and made games/gambling things you can do on it.

Thanks for the tip! I noticed that it was pulling from different sets after I was done recording. I don’t post directly to TCG using the app, so I would have caught it on the PC. But I was using the scanning feature to get a basic idea of pricing. I do need to figure out a better system though. Thanks for the feedback and good luck to you as well!

Thanks dude! My way of shipping isn't 100% perfect, but I haven't received any negative feedback from my buyers before. I'm a fan of the style that this was filmed too. Might do this style or something similar moving forward. Happy New Years to you too!
