NO WE DONT !!!! Where exactly in Paul’s epistles (romans to Philemon) does he actually command us to support them ? Israel has been temporarily cut off and blinded until the rapture because they have rejected Jesus Christ (romans 11:25), we the church are now blessed with salvation because they have fallen (romans 11:11-12).
In-fact the apostle Paul goes onto explain how that Israel are actually our enemies for the gospels sake because of their rebellion toward Christ (romans 11:28). Even Amongst all that is happening right now, Israel is still anticipating the appearance of their messiah (the false prophet) and the rebuilding of the temple so they can perform animal sacrifices (openly spitting in the face of Jesus ultimate sacrifice on the cross for all) and for the Antichrist to sit in.
As Christian’s our Job is NOT to support that nation, or involve ourselves in their affairs. They will never have peace until they turn from their iniquity and accept Jesus as their messiah, which will happen at the end of the 7-year tribulation period (romans 11:26-27). We need not to pray for Israel, as God will resume his dealings with them after the rapture of the church.
In other dispensations/ages when Israel was walking in obedience to God and his focus was upon them. Then yes those scriptures concerning gentiles blessing Israel for a blessing from God were very much in action.
However in this dispensation we currently live, Israel has fallen and are in rejection of Jesus Christ (Rom 11:25). They have lost their position as being head of the nations and are heathens just like every other country. blessing them will not earn you or anyone else a blessing from God. God is focusing on building the body of Christ/church today, and will turn his attention back to Israel after the rapture.
So again our job is not to get involve with either side of this war, but to focus on preaching the gospel and sharing sound doctrine.
I pray for peace, however Israel MUST protect itself from the iranian threat! Shame on our administration to not let Israel do their job
