HARDCORE NUZLOCKE RULES (POKEMON HARD MODE)

1. Only Pokemon with a Fighting-typing can be used in battle.
2. I can only try to catch the first Fighting-type that I encounter in each area.
3. If a Pokemon faints it cannot be used for the remainder of the run.
4. If my whole team faints then the attempt is over.
5. No items in battle.
6. Set mode enabled.
7. I cannot over-level beyond the highest level battle of each area.
8. No duplicate species can be caught. Encounters for species that I have caught previously are re-rolled.
9. Any shiny Fighting-type can be caught regardless of whether it is the first encounter of an area.

If you think bulk up and drain punch is busted you should see lilligants victory dance with drain punch. My level 40, 1 shots most Pokemon
I like how all four of his Machamps moves were punches. Every arm had a different purpose.

You can get Chimchar early in the game it’s a rare spawn

It really doesn’t matter too much, but you can actually get Chimchar a lot earlier than that. There’s a mission (I believe #15 but I could be mistaken) to find a “will-o-wisp” at night in the Obsidian Fieldlands. It’s not too far from the camp hiding at the top of a tree

But there also is the alpha Infernape at ramanas island yes I do relise that you need basculegion for it or braviary but it’s faster to use basulegion

You could've caught the chimchar or monferno that has a chance to spawn at deertrack heights to kill kricketune.
But they are rare spawns and chimchar is pure fire type so he can’t even use it right away he’s have to evolve it before using it in battle

I am surprised he didn't used Hisui Lilligant. Victory dance is a little bit broken. It raises your defensive and offensive stats AND gives you a 50% damage boost. If you combine this with the STAB boost this thing will one hit basically everyhting with drain punch. Crazy combination. I wonder if we will see this pokemon in Gen 9.

You can transfer PLA pokemon to Gen 9.
@@PRDGL_WindyBW We don't have a list of the pokemon that will be in Gen 9. You can only transfer pokemon from PLA that are also in Gen 9. We will get 4 to 500 pokemon at best. The rest is DLC. Because greed. So there is no way you can know right now if Hisui Lilligant is in Gen 9 or not. Nobody can.
I maybe wasn't clear enough in my original comment. I know he uses Lilligant. I meant why he wasn't protecting her more. She is by far the strongest and most valuable team member. He clearly doesn't see the value in her Victory Dance.
You should do just Rock Types for the next Arceus run so you can use Hisuian Arcanine and Hisuian Avalugg.

recommendation to make the game a bit more challenging, if the red bar pops up over your screen you HAVE to fight whatever pokemon is targetting you, so it forces more encounters
What about alphas? If they are super high leveled Like Rapidash the nuzlocke is over
You know the games getting serious when in the nuzlocke rules he says, “When either the whole team or *the player* faints the run ends”

My favorite new fighting type would probably be H Lilligant. I just finished my first playthrough where Lilligant went wild in so many fights and it reminds me a lot about Roserade, the appearance being graceful, elegant, serene, almost distracting from offensively terrifying these pokemon actually are
Now Catch Arceus and turn it into a fighting type with the Fist Plate.
Hisuian Decidueye is not only my favorite fighting type in Hisui; it's my favorite fighting type ever. I don't know what it is about it, it's just really pleasing to the eye to see a pokemon based on autumn that isn't just a shiny form.

imma be honest, this is my favorite Keegan J video! Its so humorous and at the scene where he got evicted and yelled about needing his supplements, i though that was the funniest shit ever.
I somehow did a fighting type only the first time I played this game, I just love fighting types.
How did your Rowlet get past Munchlax, I tried one myself but I couldn't win, and I wasn't even doing a Nuzloke

I'd have to say my favorite fighting type, just like the rest of the world, is Lucario. I also got a shiny Lucario and Sneasler in Legends Arceus. :)

You should honestly do a ghost type mono run it’s definitely more hard with the limited mons
Hisuian Lilligant, as it's one of the Nobles of The Pearl Clan and very beautiful at that.
when i started a ghost type run I named myself mr spooky. then I saw this.

This game is a lot of fun to challenge run! I did it recently with a solo Lopunny (only needed level 80 for Volo). Required items in battle (that strong style close combat... phew), but maybe I can level her up a bit more and do a no items run someday.
Fighting types is a great choice, too! Best type!
The mon for "special" people
My favorite fighting type in this game is Sneasler. It took me a long time to find the shiny alpha Sneasel, but it was worth it.
Im hunting shiny sneasel, shiny petilil, and shiny Gligar. It's not going too well.

Well done! I had expected a few more deaths, but I guess I underestimated the power of bulk up + Machamp's bulkiness. That comment about Sneasler being just a stretched Sneasel hits home hard, since that's exactly what I thought when I first saw Ingo summoning her lol.
My favorite has and will always be Gallade regardless of how he compares to Gardevoir and other 'mons. There's an interesting moment when I ran a plat nuzlocke run with two friends and they were hoping for Gardevoirs while I was trying to get a Gallade--and then they both got male ralts while I found a female, and they both evolved theirs to Gallades just to salt on me, Good times.
Looking forward to more content! I think you were the first poketuber that got me into the hardcore nuzlocke rabbit hole, so keep up the good work.

You may have addressed this in other videos so I apologize for asking a repeat question, but how did you get the appropriate next star level to open the new areas?
Do a bunch of research tasks and such.
Pretty sure he can only catch and use 1 of each fighting type but he can still catch other pokemon for star lvls etc. It's just that when it comes to fighting types that the nuzlocke rules take effect.
He’s probably catching other Pokémon to complete the dex while he goes on
@@PurpleLionRs a lot of dex entries are "see x moves" or "use x type move on it." There are also a few "feed them berries" so it's actually not that hard to go through the game without catching a lot of Pokemon so long as you're strategic with the Pokedex.

You can catch an alpha Hercross in obsidian fieldlands, along with chimchar close tto where you fought kricketune. Also the quest one like someone else said. You can also catch a monferno in the same place as chimchar.

My fav fighting type is Lucario for its iron fist fighting concept with aura backed up. Also Lucario's iron fist training irl watching videos of it are so painful and hard to do. Which is hitting sand and rocks. :)

So I actually started playing this game a year after it came out. Tried to play it on release but couldn't get into it. It wasn't until I came across ur channel doing g these runs that got me into playing it and plus with huisian goodra coming to scarlet and voilet I started playing
You could’ve gotten chimchar by doing side quest 21 I think (Will o’ the Wisp) then evolve it into monferno however this prevents you from ever being able to complete that quest (I did it so I would know).
My favourite historian fighting time is litigant because it is so beautiful!
