Love your videos. I have not seen any other videos that break it down like you guys do. There is a lot of knowledge there.....Thanks and keep them coming
I'd love to see a video on all the "extra" terminal tackle and their uses. For example, the benefits of an oval split ring over round? When to use a swivel and clasp, etc...
Loving the educational videos!!! Maybe do one on electronics/ how to find fish with electronics in summer. I need to learn how to find baitfish and schools of bass
I just got hooked on spike it .. i had a old 10inch power worm in black with a orange tail.... last Tuesday i caught a 41 3/4 inch pike with it so I started looking for more that color ....had to start making my own anyway and spike it did the trick.... why doesn't anyone make a black and orange worm beats the heck out of me.
@Bamabass, I live in the north western part of bama, i fish warrior river ALOT, i like using texas rigs and jigs, What would you advise on these techniques for better bites?

Man I swear I always learn something new from watching your videos lol Can you ever OVER dye your bait? And would you recommend re-dying or scenting at intervals after a certain amount of casts? Thanks Bama! and as always! ROLL TIDE!!!!
I bought the clear jj's majic from you guys a few weeks ago. All I have to say is that stuff catches fish and makes you crave pizza while your fishing hahah.
hey BamaBass.. love your vids always great info. I was wondering if you have done or will do a rod and reel video? more rod I guess. Like what length and action weight do you like for jigs or weighted plastics or crankbaits etc. growing up only really had one rod and tied everything to it. now I have a few and seems some bait don't work so well on certain rods. thanks in advance!
I didn't know Spike-IT had orange dye. I always thought that was red. Never bought it because I already use JJ's red/methylate for that color shade. Now I'll have to get some. That orange & brown jig/craw package you showed in this video looked absolutely dynamite. Looks just like the craws we have up here in my lakes. They're bright orange in the spring/summer but as the water starts cooling down for fall, they start turning brown but have orange blotches on them. PS: I love Dirty Jigs. Especially their no-jack swim jig in their "bluegill 1" color pattern. I use that one and the regular shad pattern. Absolute fish getters. Both with keitech swing impact trailers. Green Pumpkin/chartreuse for the bluegill jig, and pro blue/red pearl for the shad jig. Fantastic combos. I also use the peppers spinner baits. Gilly and Money Maker are my favorite colors. In that order. I have to disagree with you though... I think JJ's is a much brighter dye that lasts longer than spike-it. To each their own!
if you dip a bait in JJ's chartreuse, and then dip in the merthiolate, it turns blaze orange. usually works on green pumpkin or watermelon color baits best.
wow I live in mobile and have always watched your vids thinking you must be in northern bama. any public lakes you're fishing around here I may not know about? we mostly fish the mobile, tom bigbee river or causway
I use spike it (garlic and salt in yellow) and has been on as long as the bait lasts. But the dye lasts a lot longer than any soft plastic will. Well worth the money.
It's not hype. People are like it doesn't do anything different. Oh really then why do you have 30 different colors of plastic in your bag dummy. The added dip to the tail shows so much in the water. Not sure about the scent tho. For me it's presentation. Also helps me see the bait better in shallow waters that are stained. I personally feel it melts the plastic down somewhat. Like the bait is more ceptible to breaking or being bit off. I don't personally drench my baits. I like adding less than 1/2" or 1/4" on small baits. Jist enough for tail flicker. Sometimes I just add it on the edges of the tail and arms etc. Or I'll run a spine on my lizard that's more colorful. It works as much as a regular bag. It's just all about personalizing your bait.
Any direction on how to make one of those dip dyes? These products arent available in my country
Loving the educational videos!!! Maybe do one on electronics/ how to find fish with electronics in summer. I need to learn how to find baitfish and schools of bass
you make some terrific videos man, the one you did on weather affecting bass fishing was really informative. keep em coming!
best fishing videos on the net. infisherman and all those pro staffers aint got nothin on yall.
Do you trust Bass Dynasty attractant scent?
How often do you use fish attractant scent??
Have you ever tried dying the tips of the skirt on a jig?
Hey bamabass, what's the best thing to do when you have a worm but only spike it where you dip it?
How can i make a dyes like these or scents?
I just got hooked on spike it .. i had a old 10inch power worm in black with a orange tail.... last Tuesday i caught a 41 3/4 inch pike with it so I started looking for more that color ....had to start making my own anyway and spike it did the trick.... why doesn't anyone make a black and orange worm beats the heck out of me.
how did you mix to get the orange
dam i got to try this JJ. I have spike it and I put it on some soft plastic and the smell stays after fishing a lure over an hour.
Very good info and awesome pairing up with dyes !
southern Alabama gets the most rain of anywhere, specifically mobile. Most people think Seattle has the most but its barely top 30.
I live in sc and I wanna catch a big bass.. we live on a 400 acre lake and I know we have some big fish but I can't seem to catch them.. any tips?
