I backed my wife’s Jeep into our neighbors mailbox. Got a few deep scratches. She’s pissed. I’m in the middle of using this system to repair. I can say it works but there’s a learning curve. I’ve found using the backing pad when doing the blending isn’t necessarily the best way to blend. I’ve found cutting the cloth (not the microfibre) into 2”x3” rectangles, folding them and gently using my index finger to target the overflow and overbuild works pretty well. But it ain’t perfect. I’ve got 2000 grit sand paper to wet sand the localized areas. Gotta fill the scratch, but also need to blend everything together. This works well enough to justify the $30 I spent. The color match is good on my application. But in order to blend everything properly I’m gonna wet sand with 2000, then hand polish with a fine compound polish to distribute the reflection from the clear coat over a broader area.
Unfortunately for me the product doesn't work, after the application I waited 5 and 10 minutes and when I use the blending solution it erasing the whole paint that was applied and the chip is visible again
You want to be careful when you do the blending . If you put on too much of the solution or if you rub too hard he will undo your work. It may take a little practice.
De acuerdo - A mí tampoco me gustó tanto como Dr. Color Chip. Cuando usa el Blend, no use mucho y tampoco use mucha fuerza. Acabo comprar otro producto, ChipEx. No no he probado pero se me gusto la promoción.
because of this video, I brought it. The color not match been contacted them serval times through email and not a single response. BIG SAD money down the drain.
That's too bad. My paint was a perfect match but I only had very small chips. The other product I recommend is Dr color chip. It's a little bit more but they've been around for quite a while and have a great reputation.
@@blackDrMe1409 I bought the lexus is350 white. Forgot the specific name called. I don't recommend this product cause paint would dry so fast in the container no matter where u placed it. I tried from 2 companies same result. Not recommended

FYI ... Directions say to apply the included wax after blending and letting the paint dry for 20+ minutes.
How do you get more of the blending solution? Is there something else you can use?

Darn same here, I had hope, looks like I’m returning this, thank god I got it through Amazon
I just finished doing mine an it’s pretty darn good, i had to go over the paint an blending about 3 times
Beautiful packaging for such a cheap paint. Prepare area properly and use a premium paint or u are wasting your time
Thanks good video

Wax for what?
I don't know, they just give you wax
@@ErickPardo better to use what ever sealant you already use on your car vs the supplied wax
Comprato e non funzione !!!! Molto molto deluso 😞
