Area of 54 inch square pizza is 54*54=2916 square inches of pizza (/8) which is 364.5 per person. Area of 36 inch pizza is around 1018 square inches (/2) makes it 509 square inches per person. As long as the pizzas are the same thickness the 2 person challenge is quite a bit more food😉

Nearly every slice is as big as a normal pizza
Wouldn't it be hillarious to see a collab of pro eaters, to tackle team challanges, like this 8 man pizza challange? Imagine the faces of staff and people in restaurant when they demolish table of food in minutes.
This is the equivalent of NINE 12” Pizzas for anybody wondering 😳
Also, this 2 person challenge is much much more difficult than the 8 person 54”x54” one… for this one you need to eat over 500 square inches each, whereas you need to eat around 360 square inches each for the 8 person
The math checks out: Pizza Pie Are Squared.
Pizza is a circle so your math is wrong, also its 7 people for the big one i believe, the poster said that

Even with 7 people on the 54x54 challenge, that still equates to 417 square inches per person, much less than this.

Well, that's my solo 18-inch effort the other weekend put into context!
Normally the pizzas in these challenges look gross but this one actually looked delicious.
Nah looked like absolute ass. Look at the "cheese" they put on it, and the dough looks way too thick and chewy. But I guess that's standard quality for US pizza

As an American sadly I agree. Somewhere everything went sideways and some parents stopped teaching manners and respect and when their kids became parents they didn’t teach them either so we’ve had generations who haven’t been taught manners and respect. My suggestion is if you’re visiting the US unless you want to spend a day or so in one of our big cities you’re better off looking for medium sized cities and small towns. In the south and the midwest you’ll find the best hole in the wall and greasy spoon restaurants and it’s not like CNN makes it out to be. In these smaller communities you’ll find more people with manners but also if they ask “how ya doin” be prepared because it’s most likely not a passing comment lol it’s a conversation starter, especially with the older folk. If you’re an obvious foreigner (accent is different and this also applies to other Americans as well) when encountering these older folks you will probably be asked where you’re from (even if it’s obvious) and about your family…then they’ll tell you about their entire lineage. Point being the stereotype of Americans don’t have any kind of manners is like all stereotypes. It’s a blanket statement that can be easily disproven. Don’t just visit our cities, explore our vast country and you’ll find NYC and LA don’t define us as a nation regardless of what the media tells you.

No...really. He reminded me at that one guy in class, which never had good grades but always loved by everyone in class...not the sharpest tool in the shed but in fact a very nice guy.

Jesus crust that was a good pizza
In the 80s in san diego there was a place called Mr v's pizza and they sold 36 inch pizzas. Only 22 bucks for a cheese but they had specialties. Their full meat was 34 bucks. Some weekends pop would go spend 100 bucks and get like 3 huge pizzas. We would have leftovers in the freezer for weeks.

For reference this is 4 times the size of a normal 18 inch pie so each ate about 2 pies of pizza. Each slice is 40 percent of a pie. At 287 calories a slice that's 9120 calories for the pie and 4560 calories per person.
