I believe at this point, one should give their 100 to the prep, then select the best college they get at that score and profile, no sense in worrying about profile though.
Hello, I'm a final-year veterinary student interested in pursuing an MBA to broaden my career opportunities. However, when I looked into the profile requirements of IIMs, I realized my academic profile might not be very competitive. My scores are 91% in 10th grade, 54% in 12th grade (as I was unwell and preparing for NEET that year), and my current graduation GPA is 7.4. Also i belong to OBC category. I'll soon share a detailed list of such colleges, so stay tuned! :)) Having said that, your academic profile is decent (apart from 12th scores), so if you give your best in CAT - you can still receive calls from a lot of IIMs (C, L, etc.). So just focus on your CAT prep for now.

Hey, you have good grades. 9/9/9 is not that important but consistency is. So don't worry about your grades and focus on your CAT scores. You'll receive most of the calls if you score well. :)) Also, gap years don't matter as long as you can justify it :)

Hey, you have a good chance if you want to pursue MBA. Focus on entrance exams - your work-ex will also help. As for FRM, I think your Barclays work-ex and CFA should be enough to put you in a good position to get into Fin roles :))

Hey, what do you want to do? If you eventually want to become a doctor, then no harm trying again. But if you're in favour of MBA - you should do ahead with your bachelor's. And while BA or BCom won't really impact your chances in doing an MBA, I feel you'll get more exposure in BA from a Delhi college - extracurrics, etc.

Hey, honestly it might be difficult to get a call from A, IIMB would also be highly unlikely because of 10th and 12th grades. If you score exceptionally well in CAT - then you might receive a call from C. But there are colleges like FMS which focus only on CAT score - so you can target those as well :))

Hey, try to aim higher. Given your academic scores - you will have to prepare well for CAT. As for business, if you don't draw a salary and have a proper employment letter - you might not be able to include it in your work-ex. But, you can use it during your interviews. That's a separate story!

Mam, I follow your timetable that can be suggested in the previous video. But Mam, when we miss that task in case then what we do, we do that task on the next day or leave that. Also in RC we read solve the RC then search on google that topic ask in RC or we search or read any topic suppose related to History or something.

That isn't true actually. They do look at your academic scores as well to calculate the composite scores. You can google the criteria for all the IIMs, since the weightage varies

Hey, actually the answer would depend on why you want to do an MBA. If it's for networking or having a trustworthy brand for the investors - then there is no alternative for it. As for learning, you might be able to learn everything that's taught at an IIM because it's more than just reading the material. IIM gives you a platform to discuss, learn about the different perspectives, etc. But you can learn whatever is required via practical experience as well (while running the business). So think about what you except to gain from an MBA and then take a call. Hope this helps! :)

Your gap years won't matter during interview calls, but do think around a story to justify these gap years in the interviews. As long as you are honest and panel is convinced, you will get selected! So don't worry a lot - start preparing for CAT with full force. Aim for 95-96%ile+ (given your category). :))

Hey, unfortunately due to your previous academic grades - getting into IIMB would be really difficult. Would rather suggest you to aim for colleges where academic scores are given lesser weightage - IIM Calcutta, FMS, XLRI, etc. Also, as of now, there is no normalization for different boards in CAT. :(

Hi, given you 12th marks are very low - you will need to score really well in CAT. You can also aim for colleges where 12th marks are not considered - like FMS. Try to average out your 12 grades with CAT first and then worry about the rest later. :)

Heyy, give you academic scores it would be very difficult to get into IIMA or B. Rather I would suggest that you should try for IIM Calcutta, FMS, XLRI - institutes where academic grades are given no weightage or less weightage and score as high as possible in CAT :)
You have a good academic scores - so if you score well in CAT, workex points won't be needed. And, gap year doesn't affect your calls but make sure you have a good explanation for interviews. That's it.
Hey, I'm not 100% sure but most likely along with the certificate, they would ask for ITR or Form 16. If not during the form filling, they can surely ask for it furing the verification process at the time of your interviews. Better to have all the documents in place.

Absolutely! Many the new and baby IIMs give significantly more weightage to CAT scores than your academic profile. But ensure that you score well in CAT so that whatever little weightage is given to previous profile, you can balance it out.

Actually college konsa hai ya kitne extra-currics hai, isse koi fark nahi padta on the shortlisting. B, I, K difficult hoga because of previous academic grades and not work-ex. So aisa bilkul bhi nahi hai ki freshers ko call nahi aate, mere batch me hi 35% students were freshers :)

FMS is a very good college!! Even the placements are on par + fees bhi kaafi kam hai. Bas FMS ke liye bhi 99.6-7%ile minimum laani padegi toh acche se prepare karna. Time bhi hai tumhare pass :))

I'm a final-year veterinary student interested in pursuing an MBA to broaden my career opportunities. However, when I looked into the profile requirements of IIMs, I realized my academic profile might not be very competitive. My scores are 91% in 10th grade, 54% in 12th grade (as I was unwell and preparing for NEET that year), and my current graduation GPA is 7.4. Also i belong to OBC category.

Having said that, your academic profile is decent (apart from 12th scores), so if you give your best in CAT - you can still receive calls from a lot of IIMs (C, L, etc.). So just focus on your CAT prep for now.

Hey, what do you want to do? If you eventually want to become a doctor, then no harm trying again. But if you're in favour of MBA - you should do ahead with your bachelor's. And while BA or BCom won't really impact your chances in doing an MBA, I feel you'll get more exposure in BA from a Delhi college - extracurrics, etc.

Hey, honestly it might be difficult to get a call from A, IIMB would also be highly unlikely because of 10th and 12th grades. If you score exceptionally well in CAT - then you might receive a call from C. But there are colleges like FMS which focus only on CAT score - so you can target those as well :))

Hey, try to aim higher. Given your academic scores - you will have to prepare well for CAT. As for business, if you don't draw a salary and have a proper employment letter - you might not be able to include it in your work-ex. But, you can use it during your interviews. That's a separate story!

Also in RC we read solve the RC then search on google that topic ask in RC or we search or read any topic suppose related to History or something.

That isn't true actually. They do look at your academic scores as well to calculate the composite scores. You can google the criteria for all the IIMs, since the weightage varies

Hey, actually the answer would depend on why you want to do an MBA. If it's for networking or having a trustworthy brand for the investors - then there is no alternative for it. As for learning, you might be able to learn everything that's taught at an IIM because it's more than just reading the material. IIM gives you a platform to discuss, learn about the different perspectives, etc. But you can learn whatever is required via practical experience as well (while running the business). So think about what you except to gain from an MBA and then take a call. Hope this helps! :)

Heyy, give you academic scores it would be very difficult to get into IIMA or B. Rather I would suggest that you should try for IIM Calcutta, FMS, XLRI - institutes where academic grades are given no weightage or less weightage and score as high as possible in CAT :)

Hey, I'm not 100% sure but most likely along with the certificate, they would ask for ITR or Form 16. If not during the form filling, they can surely ask for it furing the verification process at the time of your interviews. Better to have all the documents in place.

Yeh bahut hi unlikely lag raha tha, maybe usne form fill karne me kuch error kiya ho but 30-35% students freshers hi hote hai if you look at the stats toh 99.94%ile pe call naa aaye yeh unlikely hai.
@@mbawithprachi A to nahi hi hona tha as he was not eligible because of aggregate 10th 12th 80 percent criteria. Indore bhi possible nahi tha. Ab bangalore work ex ke wajah se nahi hua. Calcutta se to aana hi chahiye tha but still nahi aaya. And I am shocked ki Kozhikode bhi kyu nahi hua.And I guess freshers are those who are from tier 1 colleges and have a lot of good extracurricular stuff.
Actually college konsa hai ya kitne extra-currics hai, isse koi fark nahi padta on the shortlisting. B, I, K difficult hoga because of previous academic grades and not work-ex. So aisa bilkul bhi nahi hai ki freshers ko call nahi aate, mere batch me hi 35% students were freshers :)

CAT percentile pe depend karega - lekin kaafi calls aa sakti hai. 12th me marks thode kam hai, but 10th, undergrad marks are good toh balance out ho jaayega. Honestly, ignore your friend - chances acche hai so don't give up on CAT and acche se prepare karo otherwise you'll regret it!

Heyy, you will have a higher chance in colleges where they don't consider past academic grades or give less weightage to academic grades - like IIM C, L, FMS, MDI Gurgaon, etc. Even XLRI focuses only on your XAT scores. So try to maximize your CAT scores. :))

FMS is a very good college!! Even the placements are on par + fees bhi kaafi kam hai. Bas FMS ke liye bhi 99.6-7%ile minimum laani padegi toh acche se prepare karna. Time bhi hai tumhare pass :))

Hey, you can get a call from C/L or FMS if you score more than 99.7-8%ile. So it's not impossible, you will just have to work very hard to achieve it :))
