It's tough for Americans to sing along with our anthem. For one, we culturally don't sing with the singer and, two, every singer sings with a difference cadence and phrasing. From my understanding, Filipinos are expected to sing their anthem in a specific cadence, which probably wouldn't fly here in the US since we place a high value on individuality.
