I've not only gained a lot of mechanical knowledge on cars from Initial D, but it has also taught me valuable life lessons too! and I'm grateful for that. It has had a big impact on the way I view things. It has also given me a new respect for women drivers too. It's one of the best things I've ever watched! It's truly a life changer! Ironically it's one of the most mature shows in existence, you can see that the people who wrote have gone through stuff. No need for gore or nudity, a healthy and realistic amount of sex innuendo and relationship issues that many truly go through. There are some shows out there that, although not commercially sucessful, are really great in that regard. Aku no Hana and Ping Pong the animation to name a few.
