  • Improve your 400m with target goals during your workouts.
    This video was inspired by one of Sadie Engelhardt's Instagram post. And even though she runs 800/1600m, she's still a speed endurance athlete that you can learn from.
    It takes intentionality to significantly improve your speed endurance. Just going to the track and running hard workouts isn't going to be as effective as running effective workouts. There's a difference.
    5 Tips to Improve Your Speed Endurance:
    1. Know your goal race times
    2. Figure out what that pace is for any distance you may run on the track (outrightfitnessapp.com/linear...)
    3. Time your workouts
    4. Record your times plus your rest times
    5. Repeat the workouts and progress the intensity

    Excellent advice! I'm an old sprinter (Masters) and I time all my efforts and write the results on my calendar. I buy a good stop watch and find it very easy to hold in my hand while sprinting and record in between distances. So for a 300 workout I hit the button at the 45, 100, 150, 200, 300 meter marks. I thereby see if I need adjustments.
