The Verizon boot and shutdown sound is still used today. I watched a video on 'Verizon phone startups and shutdowns' and a Convoy 4 was in the video, and when it started up, it played the Verizon boot sound.
@TonysPhoneCollection1 The call quality wasn't bad at all. When I was using it for that month it was good for the most part because I wasn't on my phone throught the day. I needed it because my smartphone had stopped working and I couldn't afford a new or used one. Unfortunately it's drawback of not having good internet when I was in need of an emergency car repair/tow was what made me go back to getting a smartphone. I had to asked someone if I could use their smartphone to look up some repair shops and a tow truck lol. For the most part I enjoyed not being hooked on my phone and only using it when I needed to make a text or call.
I use to have this phone 4 years ago. It was the first phone own and fall in love with. Lol. Know I have the verizon etalk since my store doesn't Sell verizon samsung styles anymore.
Lol my world history teacher had this phone as well and he said it was probably the best phone he ever had until he was forced to get the Nokia 2720 V flip due to 3g services closing

This phone is CDMA so it won't have a sim card slot it is activated threw the ESN number on the back but Verizon won't activate them any more. :(

I've never like the Samsung Gusto series
