Hopefully we don't. The only reason I would say you can consider it more like a fan-made expansion pack rather than mod pack is beacuse of it's huge size, and the number of new objects (more than 100, maybe even 200 lol).
This looks like world adventures from sims 3 but in sims 4. İt's really alot of work and your passion is really showing in your work. I'll be waiting for this one❤

I'm trying to blend Simlish with a tourist world feeling. So, some objects are only written in Simlish, some are in English and some are in both (at the airport everything is written in both but for example there is a metro station that has a "Tourist Go Home" Sprayed on in English and on top of that is another text but Simlish to leave tourists alone). I'm trying to make this mod as maxis-match as possible.

EA would never let Maxis out of that money chokehold enough to let them give us open worlds, this is AMAZING!!! But is the open world only for this world? I wonder how difficult it would be to make a mod that forces the other worlds to be open
A Sims 3 open world would unfortunately be impossible to create because of the structure of the game. The reason this world can be called open world is because it has only 1 lot so once you load the world there are no more loading screens just a huge open area. A semi-open world mod would be possible for other worlds as well and I have plans for other worlds but that's in the far future.
@@NerdyDoll Sadness :< But a semi open world is what I was thinking of, where all the lots are loaded and you don't need a loading screen just to visit a neighbor XD If you are planning to make such a mod in the future, I am excited for it! It's amazing that you and anyone else that helped could make an entire expansion pack, seriously incredible work!
@@midnitethedsixl4601 unfortunately that's the part that's impossible. I mean the game loads all lots (you can even see inside) but going there requires a loading screen. My plan is turn the empty shell buildings to open ones tho.

I love this a lot and im hyped. However theres smth id like to ask. I have seen in the past great mods such as this one but they were locked behind a patreon post-release. Now I hope that's not the case with this one, but I can't shake that feeling off. It will be available to download for everyone post-release, right?

This looks awesome! But I have some questions… Will there be residential properties in this New World? Will there be places for Sims to stay overnight? How will this interact with other mods… I’m thinking of little Miss Sam, like the holiday home and owning a business? Will we be able to edit any of the buildings in this mod or add anything to landscaping etc.? What world is this being placed in… I’m assuming it’s taking over a location and just wondering which one it is. I would love it if the modern had the time to answer some of these questions for us. I know I’m late joining the dialogue, so I appreciate the patience! 💜💜💜
So, this is not a world edit mod, just a "simple" replacement of the Oasis Spring Park world, hence the world is not really editable. Of course, new objects can be added with the TOOL mod, but even if you delete an object that was placed down by me, it will respawn the next time you open the game as the objects will be saved in the world file to make the world accessible in older save files as well. I'm trying to make this mod as compatible with other mods as possible, but we will see in the end how that turns out. There is one lot which can be edited as the player wishes, hence that lot can be an ownable business as well if you use that mod. Sims can stay overnight in different places: hostel, hotel, Airbnb, apartment etc. I will try to make an apartment renting system but that might not come with the initial release just like the pilot and airport careers. Hope that answered everything 🥰

Unfortunately work has been tough in the past couple of days, but I'm working on the mod any chance I have. Two more bigger interaction groups need to be tackled and then ready for testing. 🥰

Is this really real for real? 😲😲😲 This is EPIC!!! I love Plumsterdam, Simffeil and Simtorini, amazing how the planes move 😮 the airport is also functional, I'm so excited for this, how is it possible to create worlds for the Sims 4 and put it inside the game? You're a genius!

You're really a genius! You should have your own Simulation engine and become a game developer, hiring modders that are as good as you and create the perfect Sims game, better than EA could ever do, better than Sims 2, 3, 4, 5 better than that.
Or if EA hires you, I truly hope they can let you make all the worlds ❤
Thank you for the kind words. As I know the installation of this mod is not as easy as popping package files into the mods folder, I will provide written and video-form installation guide when the mod comes out to help everyone out. It's not an entirely new world though, it replaces the Oasis Spring Park world.

@@bedeath498 for Beta Testing, yes, only Jewel tier and up can take part, to avoid overcrowding, but the mod will be free once it passes the necessary testing and stages. When you sign up for Beta Testing you recieve an email with the mod and the instructions as well.
quick question i saw taxis and the sim was going over to it is that how we travel to the airport? Are we going to be able to drive with your mod? Waronkcc has made driving a sort of possibility but im only able to drive on the roads with his mod in brookheights in other worlds you drive on the pavement. I also saw a bustop will we be able to travel by bus too?
The taxis you will be able to use to get to airport and home (depending where the sim's lot is) but in the beginning there won't be any cars or buses most probably. I do have plans for them but it's a huge subject I have to learn which would delay the release, so buses most definitely not. As for cars, we will see, but in the beginning it won't be as detailed even if it comes to the initial release.

¡OMG! this is incredible… It will work on all types of computers?
It will be difficult to play the mod as a whole on a computer that was outdated in 2008, but I'm trying my best to optimize it in the best way possible. I tried out the mod on my sister's old computer and it worked. I can practically say that if your computer can handle Tomarang or Selvadorada, which are pretty huge worlds, then it will handle Aviodora. However, I will release a small guide on how to optimize for less powerful computers as well.

@@Dontsaynoto eh, not entirely true though. I mean, I have a high-end laptop and I have no idea how to calibrate Sims 3 to be playable because it's using my computer's 10% of capacity. What I can say for sure, because I tested on two PCs, is that if your PC can handle Tomarang, it can handle Aviodora.

I love the concept but my gaming laptop could never handle open worlds on the Sims 4 platform. Great work though.
If your computer can handle Tomarang, it will handle Aviodora. But, I will release a guide how to play with lower spec computers.

Similar concept, but more open venues, bigger world and more gameplay. This is a touristic world, so it has more sights, rentable places, museums etc. There is also a bike rental and of course the airport, which in itself will be a huge gameplay. A phone app will make it easy for Simmers to navigate and prepare for the journey ahead! 🥰

I never played the brookheights mod because I started playing Sims 4 in 2022 when it became free. I have all DLCs now and I'm so excited for this!
so do we get to go on the plane or is it a rabbit hole?
The insides of the plane would be pretty much impossible with my current knowledge but the plan is that after sims go through all the airport hustle, they will get on the plane, you watch it take off and then comes the loading screen to choose the world you're going to.

This is beautiful I have said since the downfall of Sims 4 with EA making so many incomplete broken expansion packs just broken everything😢 smh I have said that the The killings who make mods and save files should be the ones who do and will keep this Sims 4 universe alive I just don't understand why EA doesn't hire them and stop wasting time and money on a staff that does incomplete work by the way who's starting the class action lawsuit because I have spent so much money on broken EA packs😮 . 🌞
I do think the game developers are creative and amazing people but their hands are pretty much tied because of their greedy company :(

April fool. But then this video was posted the 2nd. There will never be an open world in Ts4. I wish people would stop advertising this
There are different types of open-world games. SIms 3 is one example, Flight Simulator is another. They both use different technologies to achive an open-world game. The Sims 4's game engine is a leftover from Sims 3 in simple words. This map and the walkable area is more than 400*600 tiles (but I will calculate the full size at one point) and there are no loading screens to get from Plumsterdam (one-end) to the Airport's runway (other-end). If you do not wish to call it open-world, it's your choice, in my dictionary, since this world is huge compared to other closed worlds and you do not need loading screens for any of the venues, it fits the description for open-world games, hence I consider it open-world.
@@NerdyDoll so you won't need a loading screen between lot as well ? Unless it's one of these so called Open World like Arnie's Brookheight whom back track later and called his world "Semi open world".
But I do see your point about what you're saying about the Sims 4 being a left over of the Sims 3, but I'll it's more of a leftover of Ts3 console. The map are a like, we can wander around the neighborhood altho we have to go tho a loading screen between each lot with TS4
@@unapologetic2992 There is only one lot in this world as it's a replacement of the Oasis Spring Park world which has only 1 lot originally as well. So once the game loads into this world, there are no more loading screens unless you want to leave it.
As a side note: Arnie called Farm-Land Semi open-world, not Brookheights.
But, your point is of course valid, I would not call it open world if it had any other lots in this world, because then there would be loading screens.
@@NerdyDoll yes, Arnie didn't called Brookheight semi open world but he didn't expand on this. And it also only had one lot. As well and field the world With a bunch of rabbithole and debug building, which I don't mind, it was the best way a sims was made
@@unapologetic2992 It actually had two lots because the doctor and detective career venues are in that world. I don't know what happened if you loaded the detective venue though as it was covered by a building. 😅
But what I can for sure say is that Aviodora has more active venues than rabbithole venues. Cinema, bar, club, library, arcade caffé, grocery store, museums, 5 different types of rentable places, airport and much more. Most rabbithole venues in this mod are in the red light street for obvious reasons.
But once the mod comes out, you can try for yourself and decide if you want to mark it as open world or not. 🤩

Whaat ?! Champ Les Sims in the Sims 3 was better than this world so ugly . Sims 4 world from EA are good because all is well decorate and the building are well proportionned .
