For the first time in a long time, I'm feeling cautiously optimistic about the future of our football club. To ensure we start the new season in the premier league, I feel we have to, despite all the reservations, fully back our manager. In return, he has to do more to motivate and support our players, stop the mad choice of substitutions, sort our game management out and take the fear factor out of the way we play when under pressure. Do this and it's onwards and upwards blue boys! COYB 💙✊👍⚽
Great pod lads!….Thanks for the ground moshiri, .. your worst two decisions were Benitez and telling kenwright your debit card was in your office top drawer… IMO
We will recover from the drop down the table in a season or two. The stadium is a massive step forward and far eclipses what Kenwright did for us which was managed decline. We aren't there yet but the stadium gives us hope of getting back to the top although it should have been bigger.
The commercial side of the club is awful we need people with a proven track record in charge. We do the community side better than anyone which is fantastic and that's the standard we need in the bringing cash flow to the club.
Love Big Nev but he’s living in fantasy land, regardless of whoever our owner is we’re still gonna sell Branthwaite in the summer because that’s the food chain. Tony is using Villa as an example to prove that Everton can return to the top of English football despite the fact that Villa aren’t at the top of English football.
Regarding Young, I do believe he played many of his games at LB and LW for Villa. Not sure about when he was at Utd. I'm not 100% on this - my memory is poor - but I think it's the case. That would explain why he looks more comfortable on the left. Surprised neither of you went for Dixon at RB. Young is error prone, Garner isn't that quick, and also doesn't know the position and made errors which contributed to one of the goals conceded when he played there recently. Dixon is unproven, but it is his position, he is quick and can deal with the pace of the Palace wingers, and offers something offensively. So, given none of our options are ideal, I'd go with the younger player who *might* surprise us and would gain useful experience in that position. If we're going to concede a goal from having a dodgy right back, I'd rather it be Dixon who will gain from that learning.
I recall before Moshiri took over, was that we were financially unstable.Kenwright was always trying to get people in to finance our club. I get it that Moshiri plunged us into financial chaos/points deductions threats of administration. There is the view that Moshiri has got us a new stadium and made us more attractive to investors. Friekin seems to offer stability. It is noticeable that our relegation struggles started about the time that Moshiri's sanctioning buying hasbeens and flashy young managers. He had the wrong vision. Onwards and upwards.
Why would big Nev send Dan Friedkin a warning about getting rid of Dyche . Just ask any premier league supporter and owners if they would put up with amount off lost games. The style off Dyche plays is a negative game putting out we will always be in a relegation battle. 2 more games them out
I've criticised Young in the past but fair play to him last week peach of a pass for our goal last week. I've no doubt he's fully committed to the cause & I blame Dyche for using him to much, lad can do a job but because of his age needs to be used sparingly.
Ian i really don’t understand the logic behind “if you don’t expect to beat Palace at home you should quit supporting Everton”. In order for me to expect something to happen then it should be something that is highly likely to happen. That’s how probability works, if you ask people without blue tinted glasses they’d probably say Everton’s chances of winning are about 40% max which probably suggests you shouldn’t expect Everton to beat Palace regardless of ego
The presenters team for me,lindstrom must stay in Mc Neil 10 has been excellent, Patterson must start when fully fit,he has been unfairly treated by Dyche,Patterson's performancesbefore injury had been good, vdrsesBrighton last season 5 -1 he was one of our best players and beat a very good winger time and time again.
Young some how turned into Maldini after 1 pass? 🤦♂️ What about the early bookings which effectively puts him out the game? Rash tackles? Red cards? Own goals? Poor positioning? He has had a handful of ok games. Not good enough at all!
You talked about Textor disrespecting the club over sacking the manager ,your discussing that now,Dyche has made mistakes this season but deserves this next 6 weeks or more to put us higher up the league,if he doesn't sack him at the end of the season . January just buy in 1 or 2 positions that were desperate in if necessary or not at all if were safe.
Tony was excellent to listen to, keeps it real speaking sense, spot on with views (apart from selecting young) :)

Big nev whatever was going on at the club was still the best goalkeeper in the world.

Lets just win tomorrow and start looking up 3 games to come we should be looking for at least 7 points from them but got to start tomorrow COYB
I think the players who are out of contract will definitely be having second thoughts if the take over goes through.

Not defending Keane, but Bouremoutn and Villa goals cam through the middle.

Every other club
haven’t had point's deductions and the financial restriction we suffer from.
5 goals in 3 games, should of been at least 8. What are you talking about.

Ian's for me. We're at home, so more width is required.

Are wait to it’s actually completed
I’d like to see change at the next international break, DoF Tim Cahill, Mgr Lee Carsley

Stupid comment
