Who noticed the new logo animation and sound effects?? 🤭🤭🤭 You can start your next creative project here milanote.com/gethandsdirty0323 Thanks to Milanote for sponsoring this video!
I love that we can see you recording the audio and the part you spoke to yourself. I gotta say I'm always impressed by your English. I also speak Portuguese, but I live abroad. So I may be biased, but your accent is so pleasant to hear! Excellent job, it was a lot of fun to watch. I hope MY accent is heard as I hear yours!
Farewell to the sofa bed. It served you well for many reasons and will not be forgotten. The new table and cabinet is a great addition and looks like it will streamline your order fulfillment department nicely. Looks great! Thanks for sharing!
My dad is a carpenter and always used a sharp chisel for the edge banding like you did. You did it perfectly. He told me that other tools are trash. So I would say: stay with your chisel. :)
Can I just say on a personal note that when your t-shirt arrived recently, I was blown away by your handwritten note and personal touches in the shipment. I'm so happy to see you build this dedicated workspace where it all comes together now. More than a few times while walking around I'll see people notice the shirt and give a nod or a thumbs up. Those who know, know.
The diagonal draw is an amazing idea to fit lard storage around the swing of the door. Great idea! And I love how the table top made of scrap wood was included in the design
That sofa bed project is the very first video I ever saw on your channel and after watching I hit that subscribe button so fast lol then I went to your very first video and binged watched every video and haven’t missed a video since. Christiana you have come a very long way in your woodworking skill you are way ahead of the game.
I especially appreciated the temporary right-angle panel holding jig you made with two tight-fit clamping squares on your Kreg mounting board. I'm going to use that idea right away. Thanks Chris.
One of my favorite woodworkers uses a cordless router to trim edgebanding. Very nice piece, always impressed by your designs! You look like a radio DJ when you film yourself doing the voiceover- very cool.
I could tell it was your design just by the thumbnail! You have a certain design language / aesthetic that is unique to you, to the extent that I can point it out even though my subs are filled with similar maker content. It was instantly recognizable as your work, and I think that is pretty awesome!
Really clever design and build, Cris! Who would have thought of bolting 2 slides together, except you? This project seems to be very sturdy and should serve you well. I have book-marked this video for future views. May the sofa bed rest in pieces.
That sofabed was one of the first videos I watched, and it got me to sub all that time ago. It's been a great journey to watch as you've developed and grown. Please keep up the excellent work. Time for the sofabed to go in the same way that a loved car has to go. Not because it no longer does what we needed it to do, but because something else is more needed.
What a terrific piece. It's beautiful, functional, and innovative. Hopefully, you can salvage some materials from the old sofa bed for a new project, and that way the old project will be given new life and stay with you always.
Man, that is the project that I started watching you channel with. It's sad to see it go, but glad to see you are still making things. Keep up the good work.
This has to be one of the best woodworking channels. I’ve been missing the videos. You should have your own TV show. Love the angled draws, and also the colours.
Cris - very nice project - particularly the "save" at the end. We're all faced with those, and you recover very gracefully! Also, a compliment on your sponsor, Milanote. I rarely comment on that, but have found Milanote to be very useful in my own projects.
Hi Steve! Thanks a lot for your kind words :) I genuinely enjoy using Milanote, and having the chance to talk about it in the videos is a pleasure when the product is so worth it.
As impressive as every aspect of this project is, I think my favorite part is how you saved the table top. That stripe with the extra bevel is genius!!!
What a joy that cabinet was to see finished. Great angles and clever ideas and I love the fact that you are not afraid to show mistakes - we all do them as you know and yes, when your Fostner bit slipped - oh ya - been there!
Your builds are always inspiringly as what can be done and your design skills are beyond question. Don't be too sad at making sofa bed redundant, you now have more free material for another project in the future !!
This is genius. I have a weird shaped galley kitchen that has walls next to doorways either end offset making countertop much narrower than regular 60cm deep to run in one line. By making a trapezoid I could have a proper sink and washing machine in the centre and use the entire space effectively (it’s also tiny). Wish you could help with the actual construction but thanks for wonderful inspiration! x
The wife and I love your channel, your creativity, our awesome sushi board you made(a purple one), and most of all, YOU! We hope your business and RUclips channel grow and grow!
First video I've seen from you. Could not place accent (my total ignorance) - Portugal. Cool. I didn't think the short & long drawer slides would work well together; that was impressive! Seeing non-standard (square/rectangular) boxes that work so well = total game changer. Thanks for this! Marked to watch a few more. Definite talent & skill!
Wonderful project and design as usual! I love when you share you thought process in working through things you hadn’t planned for. You quickly showed when you were vacuuming out one of the drawers and I am very curious what kind of vacuum that is? I have been looking for a good and small vacuum for my workspace and what you are using looks like a good size!
Hi. I saw your videos tonight for the first time and all I can say is that you are incredible very talented skilled person. I love wood working myself I built a few projects here and there mostly cabinets but nothing compared to what you’re doing. I am so impressed with your design and ideas and thank you so much for sharing. I subscribed to your channel and love it so much. More power to you.
Hello Cris, How are you? I am from the USA. I learned woodworking back in high school, and from my Dad many years ago. You have a great gift of design and form. Where did you learn your craft? Have you had any formal training? Your work is beautiful.👍♥️
Another great project and video! I had been missing you and am so glad to see you back!! Always enjoy your work and entertaining videos. Keep them coming! Sending all the best!
That sofabed was what brought me to your channel. I still think, it is a cool concept and wokld love to see a revisit to the concept with maybe a few improvements. Like a latch hook system wjile used as a bed so the elements are connected and can not slip apart and create crevices while someone sleeps on it. The depth of the seating area is also something, I would like to be variable. I am still drawing up variations of the idea with pen and paper, to make it look lighter. I need a day sitting, night sleeping option for my one room apartement, so a guest could sleep over without having to sleep on the floor.
I'm a new watcher of your channel. Watched probably 12-15 videos this morning. You inspire me to do the creative projects I have in mind for our upcoming new home. I don't know how available raw materials are here in Thailand but I can adapt! One thing I would like to see in your videos is more time spent with shots of the finished project. You do all this intricate work, which is great, but only show the end result for a few seconds. Please give us long relaxed time to take it in, and from more zoomed out shots so we can also see the project flowing in the space. Please! I want to take it all in at the end ♥️😊♥️
Olá, os teus vídeos são relaxantes, instrutivos e muito criativos. Gosto muito dos projetos. Boa sorte para as próximas ideias. Beijinhos grandes vindos do Algarve.
What an IMMENSE project! Excellent work as always. The only thing I would have done differently would be maybe paint chalkboard paint on the table surface.. just somewhere to scribble notes :)
using a utility knife or a long thin blade works wonders with edge banding, just be sure to slice it using as much blade as possible in 1 stroke, similar to cutting fish sashimi slices cleanly using a long knife. great video as always!
Fantástico projeto Cris, a atenção que dás a cada detalhe mesmo sendo um simples armário, torna o teu trabalho simplesmente inspirador. Uma vez mais adorei, PARABÉNS!
It has been over 6 years?! Wow! Your channel is one of few that keeps inspiring me. I've watched a couple of your videos multiple times because your narration and edit is as beautiful as your work! Thank you so much for all the effort you put into your work infront and behind the camera! Bis zum nächsten Mal :)
Very nice work again, Cris! It's always fun to see you create things, even though I myself am not skilled enough to even measure and saw a simple shelf for my toilet 😅
Who noticed the new logo animation and sound effects?? 🤭🤭🤭
You can start your next creative project here milanote.com/gethandsdirty0323 Thanks to Milanote for sponsoring this video!
The multifunction sofa bed was what brought me to this channel. End of an era.
I love watching how you work on these projects. Even if I'm getting anxious while watching you working without gloves, glasses, or a dust mask.
Best part is you and your sister working side by side, easier to communicate. We only have a short time on this Earth, time is not replaceable.
Remember that sofa bed? That was the very first video of yours I watched and I'm very glad the RUclips algorithm decided to suggest it.
Wow, thank you! :)
Your shop builds are better than a lot of people's fine furniture! Here's to a job well done. 🎉
Yay, thanks!!
Then it's not fine furniture... I like Cris' work very much tho
My favourite part….”there, there, there, there, ok” 😆
Double drawer slides. Genius!!!!!
I enjoy how you show your mistakes and your oh so wonderful recoveries. Keep on inspiring people
Yes I remember the sofa episode, been with you ever since, congratulations on all you do, you get better and better each time
Yay! Thanks for sticking around!
Same! And remember how empty her space was! 😲😄
@@GetHandsDirty you’re most welcome

Only seeing this now. That's so cool, Jonathan!! And I really appreciate the feedback on the shipping!
The diagonal draw is an amazing idea to fit lard storage around the swing of the door. Great idea! And I love how the table top made of scrap wood was included in the design
Thanks so much! 😊

Wow...really? I am so flattered!!! ☺
Same! I can't believe this was six years ago!
I especially appreciated the temporary right-angle panel holding jig you made with two tight-fit clamping squares on your Kreg mounting board. I'm going to use that idea right away. Thanks Chris.
Glad it was helpful!

You should work on a book of plans and diagrams of your designs and ideas...I would love something like that. Even just in a rough scrap book style!
Wow that's amazing to hear!! A book of plans and ideas sounds cool, who knows. :) Thank you!
Good work done!
And your hands aren't even dirty.
Very interesting - don't think I have ever seen trapezoidal drawers before. Very clever build. Thank you.
You are a beast from design to execution of build. I love how you are also able to adapt to imperfections you run into. Beautiful build!
Thank you very much!
Really clever design and build, Cris! Who would have thought of bolting 2 slides together, except you? This project seems to be very sturdy and should serve you well. I have book-marked this video for future views. May the sofa bed rest in pieces.
Ahaha xD Hey thanks for the compliment! This was such a simple idea... it seems weird not to find info about connecting two slides on the web.
That sofabed was one of the first videos I watched, and it got me to sub all that time ago.
It's been a great journey to watch as you've developed and grown. Please keep up the excellent work.

I was just thinking yesterday how I was hoping to see a video from you soon, yayyyyy!
Great result. I like your recovery on the final trim. The cabinet looks quite handy.
Man, that is the project that I started watching you channel with. It's sad to see it go, but glad to see you are still making things. Keep up the good work.
Thanks Kenny!
I love watching your skill. You are an artist. Thanks.
This has to be one of the best woodworking channels. I’ve been missing the videos. You should have your own TV show. Love the angled draws, and also the colours.
That is always a great pleasure to see your new videos.
Beautiful
The angled drawers are as cool as!
An elegant solution to your situation.
Another fine demonstration of your design and maker skills. More please.
As impressive as every aspect of this project is, I think my favorite part is how you saved the table top. That stripe with the extra bevel is genius!!!
for long heavy duty sliders you can use sliderrs for rack servers.
Great job looks great
What a joy that cabinet was to see finished. Great angles and clever ideas and I love the fact that you are not afraid to show mistakes - we all do them as you know and yes, when your Fostner bit slipped - oh ya - been there!
Great to have your feedback, thanks! I think it was the first time a Forstner bit slipped on me. I blame it on the soft plywood xD
Your builds are always inspiringly as what can be done and your design skills are beyond question. Don't be too sad at making sofa bed redundant, you now have more free material for another project in the future !!
Great save on the table top! Looks really good. Great idea with doubling up the drawer slides too. Gives me lots of ideas!
Exelente trabajo. Saludos desde Lanzarote. Sigo msus diseños y creaciones desde hace años.
Vos vidéos sont toujours plaisants et imaginatifs! Bravo et merci pour le partage!
Merci Eric!
Great work Cris, love how you show your mistakes and how you overcome them *thumbs up* 🙂
I follow you from very early years and you never disappoint. Good job. Keep it up.

I love the cutaways to you doing the voice over. It's the little things. ❤️
Next time I'm in Porto, I'll try to say HI!!!
Cheers, very nice video, as always
You make well thought out modern projects and you make great videos.
Woah! I need to catch up since you've built your kitchen from a few years ago. I'm glad you are still making videos!
The wife and I love your channel, your creativity, our awesome sushi board you made(a purple one), and most of all, YOU! We hope your business and RUclips channel grow and grow!
I'm so happy to hear that you are enjoying the sushi board!! So many compliments, I don't even know what to say. Thanks guys!! :)
You never disappoint! Another great project.

Marked to watch a few more. Definite talent & skill!
Awesome work, yet again!
Great builds always. that table top problem was a pain in the head 😅
Absolutely amazing project! Well done!
So beautiful
I remember that sofa built like it was yesterday. But it was 6 years ago that’s crazy. Where has time gone.
Hi Dustin, thank you very much for your feedback! It was this mini vacuum amzn.to/3ZH34Du
As usual , plenty of good design.🪚
Awesome work as always!

I have a BA in Sculpture but I learned 99% of the woodworking stuff watching other makers on youtube since 2011 :)
This is an incredible work !
Brilliant!
Looks fantastic, well done.
Another great project and video! I had been missing you and am so glad to see you back!! Always enjoy your work and entertaining videos. Keep them coming! Sending all the best!

Best maker ever…❤🎉
Thanks for another cool project. You always make it look easy though :)
you are so awesome!!! What a great functional build, the colors and layout are perfect.
"There, there, there, there, there, there, there... Okay"
Lol this made me laugh. 🤣🤣😂😂

Gracias, disfruto mucho tu talento, continua asi.
Love this build and love this video!

What an awesome looking shop. Super inspirational.
Beautiful work and a great video. 👍

Yay! Obrigada Paulo!
I love your creativity and problem solving skills-both when things don’t work out right and to fit custom solutions to unique spaces!
I really appreciate it, Beth!
Amazing work, Cris! It turned out fantastic! 😃
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

Really great project. Well done! Bom trabalho 😎
