The government has opened bid window 2 for solar and wind energy. Projects of bid window 1 are being built and some will be completeted next year. Go to Northern Cape you will see many solar farms are about to be completed and will come online in 2024 and 2025. In Eastern Cape wind turbine farm of about 1200 megawatts has been completed. I have already invested in wind energy. Instead of complaining look for opportunities that are there. At the rate at which SA is investing in green and sustainable energy I think in 10 years time we will rely less on coal. I laugh at people who are critical of load shedding when 94 % of SAns have access to electricity and the number will increase exponentially in the next 4 years. Many countries on the continent do not have even 50% access to electricity, but they comment here. What a joke.
We plan ahead. Lot of solar, wind and gas coming to the grid soon. More solar power station solar stations are about to be finished. I have already invested in some of them, read about the developments in SA before spewing vitriol idiot.
As someone not living in Gauteng, it would have been good if you informed viewers exactly where this Estate is situated. Just another densifying project using the scarce commodity, water, to give a false impression, namely that people are herded together. Ugh!

@@donaldmacdonald9993 racist? I think not. SA is a rainbow nation with many tribes. The least the developers could have done is to honor and celebrate that. This name doesn't scream proudly SAn, in fact it hardly whispers it and that's an insult to SAns. It's one thing to give it a Swahili name, that's not a problem but to pick a tribe of people (kikuyu) who've had zero contribution in the building of SA is basically giving a middle to SAns. As a black person I think Orania is way better because Afrikaaners have helped build this country and they chose a name that's uniquely SAn and if they feel they need a place for themselves away from everyone then there's absolutely nothing wrong with it.
