Like that penthouse rooms may serve purpose of being something else like office alot of times the highest level penthouses are duplex or triplex penthouses with 2 or 3 floors and maybe private elevator

We just saw the main bedroom what about the other bedrooms, the braai area, the technology in the house, the main bedroom doesn't even have a TV stand unless I missed it. There was mention of the base parking and reception area it would have been nice to see it. Does this penthouse have its own jacuzzi area? It's the most expensive penthouse in JHB and we only saw a bit of it. Would it be possible to do a continuation of the house and show us the house in full?.
Very fair question, Jessica. For a number of reasons - that’s perhaps the downside of taking someone VIP along. I honestly didn’t want to go into such details with our special guest, taking him all around all six bedrooms, bathrooms, etc. as the tour would have been too long. Plus, I notice from my stats that a very small % actually watch the entire video to the end once I do it that long, as people “find it boring” for whatever odd reason🤔 Main bedroom suite has that setup as you enter - as the tour guid explained, it’s a matter of personal preference how you’d like to adjust that suite section. No worries - I have a number of other short videos which will show off the jacuzzi with its amazing views (located mid-patio)🥰

Let’s not forget that the penthouse next door at The Ellipse SOLD not too long ago for R75mil… so there’s clearly a market for such real estate. And yes, for 99.99% of us, we’d be looking to invest it. But what if you have a few R100mil already? And tons of investments? You’ll be on a completely different level 🤔 My 2 cents.

I hear you - let’s not forget that not everyone likes to live in lifestyle estates, such as Steyn City, Waterfall etc.
Some LOVE city-like living in penthouses high above everyone. Each to their own.
Whether it’s worth R80mil depends on the above premise - if one doesn’t appreciate that lifestyle, it won’t make sense to pay that sum.
Let’s not forget that the penthouse next door at The Ellipse SOLD not too long ago for R75mil… so there’s clearly a market for such real estate.
And yes, for 99.99% of us, we’d be looking to invest it. But what if you have a few R100mil already? And tons of investments? You’ll be on a completely different level 🤔

Always going to be missing some features/amenities one might find with standalone homes (which personally are my fave as well as I think PH’s are too limited in their offerings but each to their own)
