I've just purchased a 1991 DR650RSE. These videos have been very informative and are excellently produced. Superb finished cables in this vid!
I have a 1990 that I'm rebuilding from the ground up and these videos have helped so much! Especially the wiring, the bane of my existence.

I have dr650 rse 1993 and it stopped working... After same diagnostics i think the De-compressio controller is the problem. And I can't find it anywhere...
Os I'll be very thankful if you can help me find one

The part number is 32910-31D00
If the Decompression isn't working, it would be much harder to start the bike, but not impossible.

Hey, maybe you have any suggestions whats going on with my RSE:
One day i found that one of the sparks dont work, i checked it on other pipe it worked so spark is ok.
Then i thought that the problem is with ignition coil - bought new one - same problem.
Other option cables: put + cable from good coil to "bad" one, it sparks then.
So how do you think where the problem is:
broken + cable
or problems with CDI unit, because (correct me if im wrong) the + cable go straight to it.
Hi, yes the signal for the coils comes from the CDI unit.
Check the connection plug for the unit, maybe a electrical plug has lot a connection.
The service manual has a page how to check the CDI unit, you capfuls try going thru that.

That’s the Suzuki SP43 engine. 640cc single cylinder.
Have worked on few of them, the Red DR650R DJEBEL on the channel has the same engine, but with a kickstart.
