The best we can do now is develop Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) as a feeder infrastructure to the metro that will be implemented say a decade later. BRT can organize the transportation network for the time being and prepare the public for the bigger metro project.
The best we can do is over throw trashy ministers and parties first, bring new faces with vision and urgency to do better for this country. We should not stop dreaming and making plans but corruption needs to be eradicated.

It's in practice these days, though it's not technically BRT. It's surprising how I found this comment after such a long time
Time for youth like him to come to power one by one with new vision backed by actual skill and education .. One by one we need to take the trash out and replace old tired and corrupt politicians that are quite incompetent
One thing about profit of metro is completely true. Infrastructure projects like railway metro etc rarely bring cash profit. They are there for increasing connectivity saving time etc. sabai national project ma profit khojni ho vna 90% infrastructure projects will run in loss.
The use of Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs) in difficult ground conditions and built-up areas has proven to be an effective and safe construction method. Even so, the state-of-the-art technology still involves a trial-and-error approach. This seems mainly due to an incomplete understanding of the physics governing the interaction between the TBM and the surrounding soil. Due to such uncertainty, the predictions of soil settlements induced by the construction of a tunnel are often unreliable.
My hats off to him. He has changed the looks of Kathmandu. Please support him. His outlook to the future of Kathmandu is looking great.

Going to the ground reality, people in Nepal only vote for their favourite party no matter how worse is the candidate of their party and how worse is their favourite party . There is no any system of voting the best available candidate in Nepal regardless of the party he represents. So it's very difficult for him to win
