The centripetal force is an effect of the rigid body simulation in Blender. It is not something that is set up or applied separately. If you set up a rigid body world and set up the physics so that the balls collide with the track, then it is just a matter of the balls gaining enough momentum on a downhill section for the centripetal force to automatically do its job through the loop section. If you're new to rigid body simulations, there are excellent tutorials here on RUclips, by people who are better qualified than I am! :) Good luck!
Race 4: A Pink marble winds up on Purple track.
Yes, well spotted. 👍 We had some lane jumping on this track. Also red and turquoise marbles on the white track. It is difficult to keep everyone in their lanes through a loop and very difficult with a double loop.
@@moreballs I don't think it was on the loops.
Edit: Can confirm. It was on the jump after the loops.
Also spotted the one you mentioned, and I have no clue how Red pulled it off.
@@moreballs Also, Race 2:
Blue on black AND black on Turquoise after the loops.
Yes, I'm reviewing the footage.
@@darianleyer5777 You're right. I thought about making the lane walls higher in the loops to keep everyone in their lanes, but higher walls spoil the viewing somewhat. It's a trade-off. We could add invisible walls there, but they are tricky because they can make the ball movement appear glitchy. Maybe glass walls, but we're already pushing the limits of my animation know-how here. I'm still fairly new to all this.
Review away! I love feedback like this. 👌
