- ⚰️🦇 My tribute to a truly major pioneer of gothic rock, The Sisters Of Mercy. You can hear this bands influence in many gothic metal bands' music today, if you listen closely. Andrew Eldritch has a uniquely emotional and expressive vocal style that I find captivating and certainly worth paying tribute to. Even if I have to sing it in a different octave 😅 If you like this song you should definitely check out their album First and Last and Always. Cradle of Filth even covered a song from this album, No Time to Cry. It is a superb collection of songs that still rocks 35 years later.

Well I’m from Leeds and watched the demise of the Sisters at York (UK) we was there, now we are all in our fifties and looking back. If you wanna make a tune from Leeds just do it. Remember you have big acts from Leeds. Sisters (obviously) The Mission , Ghost dance, Skeletal Family, All about Eve, The Lorry’s, Salvation, Bridewells and let’s not forget James Ray ....
