I was such a die-hard Spiderie shipper in season 1 and still don't get why they've completely abandoned that storyline but after season 2 I get why Spider & Missy make so much more sense than Spider & Amerie. Amerie could have never helped Spider become a better person the way Missy did because she's a mess herself. She's also very self-involved idk I'm not that big of an Amerie fan, I get strong Devi (NHIE) vibes from her. It's entertaining when the main character is a mess but it's really hard to ship those characters with anyone 😂😂😂
Yesss, I was too hoping for spiderie but Missy and spider really makes more sense and most important spider wanting to be better shows how much he really wants things to work out between him and Missy. Like I was so happy and watched their scenes on repeat
also amerie was embarrassed of spider and didn’t like him enough to go back to him after he couldn’t get it up i don’t think amerie really cared ab spider either

I think it’s the same with most high school series, they get older so go up years of school- series one (correct me if I was wrong) them in year 10 then year 11 was series 2 and last year of school is year 12 which would be series 3 so As it’s a high school drama they would have to end at season 3 if they wanted it to be based at a school if that makes any sense sorry if it doesn’t
