I made this today it turn out great I don't have pimento or coconut oil but i have fresh coconut milk I didn't any pepper in mine but I had roast pepper sauce that lash .

I added 2 ochroes sliced, and it really spruced up the texture. 👍
Followed this as you did and it came out perfect. I had a bit of left over dhal which I added close to the end and it came out heavenly.

I soak my saltfish. Strip it up first then soak it in plenty water. Change the water once, in 20-30 minutes it would be good.
