I just now heard about this. Totally saving for this book!
That is one of the problems; my feeling is that if one makes $10/hour today vs. the $2.50/hr (with way lower taxes) back when the White Box came out for $10 complete in the mid-70's these hardcover full-color editions are just plain pricey.
Having played about 50 hours with three DM's and five different parties full of players born after 1990, people who thought of 3E as the Old Way, I had no desire to pay another $120 for the new 5E, it's honestly NOT worth it - but I am now getting some, to accompany an investment in AME.
Looking forward to seeing how she fares in the wilderness!
Love this. A shame they lost the license. Hopefully Free League Publishing continues the game successfully.
Just play The One Ring RPG.
Its the same game but without all the Dungeons and Dragons trappings, which IMHO, is a good thing.
@@aiden_macleod Good idea I will check that out thank you
In your next video can you place the camera behind you?
Agreed. Nothing more annoying than seeing a video upside down.
Every two over ten is a +1 it’s much simpler
I still specialize in keeping 1st Edition alive with some parts of 2nd Ed, I have a good amount from all the later ones and I've played them all too but I still love the original - with my House Rules !

I am particularly looking forward to Cubicle7's work to bring Middle Earth into alignment with D&D. I have a lot of the classic ICE Middle Earth gaming products and I am working on bringing them together.
Those are some very nice dice! Do you remember where you got them?
They are made by Games Workshop. They do limited release dice sets for the Middle Earth SBG. These where the Gandalf set and unfortunately no longer available.
@@TheBattlinBarrowGaming ahh, I should have known. Ah well. Cheers!
@@Longfang91 it's a shame they made them so limited. They are nice dice. I think the latest set was a fangorn one which although not on their own store still may be available somewhere like wayland games or the like
