We have a 2020 base model.. would it be possible to tell our Highlander to activate a "heads up display" that currently isn't unavailable? Or mess with our (currently highly limited) parking and cameras settings?

When they ask you to choose brand it is to show you which codings will be available for each car model...but app works on all supported cars

Have regular obd like the one in the video. App wont let me do anything. It connects but wont let me change anything. Ive paid for full subscription. Any ideas??
Check on Carista website codings for your model. If you don't see any coding on website, it means there isn't any available for your car.
If you see codings on website, but not in app, contact Carista support for help.

Not with coding. Only if you have remote start, you could do that I guess.

Can u automatic lock for toyota auris hybrid touring sport
Hi it cannot be coded for my Corolla, so I suspect it doesnt work for other models as well.
@iamcarhacker have u tried coding the feature where if u leave the car unlock for 30seconds it auto locks?

If you mean when you unlock the car but dont open any doors, and it will lock back again, this can be coded for mine.

Do you know if it is possible on a Toyota corolla to turn on that annoying safety message that pops up on the cars screen everytime you switch on?
Most likely it won't be possible with these wireless adapters. Toyota doesn't offer much coding options with their safety features outside of safety belt warnings.
@iamcarhacker Ahh that's a shame. It drives me mad. I know it auto clicks ok for you. But still does it really need to keep coming up.
What about enabling auto tilt of the door mirror when putting in reverse? Do you know if that is possible?
I'm definitely doing the indicator up to 5 flashes and turning the sound of it down and setting the windows to up and down on the remote when I get it.
Wish auto lock was available too as in when you drive off and if you forget to lock the car and walk away.
Kick to open the boot would be useful too. I know some corollas in other countries have this ability but then I guess if the sensor isn't there then it can't do it.
I'd also like to adjust the braking force with adaptive cruise control as I feel it brakes too abruptly and often when it doesn't need to because it's sense a car in the other lane. Guess things like that can't be changed though
@@carlbrain3758 I also want the auto-tilting mirrors in reverse. Some 1990's Lexus models had them, it's a shame we don't have it 30 years later
