Love the way you explain wines and appreciate your vast knowledge! I tried a couple of cab. Franc from Argentina that were very nice.

Argentina now makes one of the best Cabernet Francs out there. So does Hungary.

Another dandy of a video. Going to pay closer attention for the peppery flavours

Dave, I like the style and vibe of your presentation. Personally, I have some special memories in France with CF long time ago

Hi Vincent: Thank you for the kind words. I really appreciate it. I agree, the Loire is some of the prettiest vineyard land around. I can’t wait to go back. Cheers, Dave

Hello! This is off topic but, if you could do a session on the difference between Sauvignon Blanc and Fume Blanc, I would appreciate it. I recently enjoyed a bottle of Ferrari Carano Fume Blanc with my wife and thoroughly enjoyed it!! Thank you very much and thank you for your generous expertise on everything wine!!!

Hi Andrew: Merry Christmas and thanks for the question. Fume Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc are the same thing. In the 1970’s, Robert Mondavi copywrote the name Fume Blanc to pay homage to the ancestral home of Sauvignon Blanc which is Pouilly Fume in France. Check out my video on the subject by searching “Pouilly” on the channel. Cheers, Dave
