Yeah, each chapter has its frustrations. Chapter One I have gotten five tanks once. Them, the number of bombers, and skull crushers literally crush your dreams. It is the chapter I score highest in, so I have a soft spot for it. I also have learned to use Kili's disable to stop a tank, a skullcrusher aoe, or a bomber from trigger if there are two. Disable is really useful in the right places. Also, for my elves I had a ton of trouble in difficulty four at first. My Elrond is 6 and doesn't heal as much and eventually my team elf team got whittled down and IH wasn't fast enough. So then I tried Eomer since the rest of his Rohan squad isn't ready for difficulty 4. It changed everything. I can taunt with Elladan turn one, heal with Elrond, then Arwen special 1, Elrohir special 1, and Eomer special 1 with the summon get's me four hits in time to trigger the bomber even with the taunt and the heal. Then Eomer has assist to help with the rest of the bombers. If your Eomer isn't in difficulty four already, consider trying him out instead of a fifth elf. For me, chapter 2 is annoying when trying to fish for early collapses and missing banes, but I really enjoy it and feel like that's the most straightforward chapter to grow. Three is a lot o restarts to get the right first attack, but bloodlust and last stand glyphs have made it fun. Chapter 4 is the worst. It shuts down so many teams and characters with blinds and there's very little to do and few choices to make. Just replaying it until Elladan resists enough banes to get a good score.
I thoui could have sworn I wasn't the only one tripping. My Isengaurd that for like 4 to 5 raids was in difficulty 3 chapter 2. I had to reduce their difficulty down to difficulty 2 despite constantly improving them, like it doesn't even add up
Also tired how the game made the skullcrusher behind the bomber. Stronger and that My Hobbit team know gets clobbered and dies now and have to go back A lvl when I am double in power and for that lvl.
