Man, I hear that thing all the way over here in Jacksonville Florida in the United States. That thing sounds awesome Bubba!!
Only just found all your videos man so sick would love an RD1 daily, she sounds like my DC5 with its 2.7 Inch Skunk2 catback man absolutely mental on wide open throttle but you get used to it after a while
Yeah it makes for a really good all round vehicle, with the standard b20 it was a bit under powered. Thanks for watching, cheers
Awesome man! Congrats on the maiden voyage! A swaybar is an absolute must! Also for the rattles, the main places on mine are the door grab bars, glove box and rearview mirror. Some strategically placed foam tape should help!
Lol cheers dude the interior is for sure rattling 😂
That vibration is from your exhaust being to close and maybe engine mounts but the noise I hear was exhaust rattle
Where is that roof top window replacement u know where I can get one
Looking good, does sound a bit load. But still, so awesome to see running. Keep the content coming
Loud not load
Lol yeah 🤷♂️ will be installing a wide band in the next couple days, hopefully get some road tunning done at some point
Let's faking send it... 😁 lol glad to see it on the road. Been watching this build for a while. Came out great. your engine mounts might break in after a while. Mine where so bad when I first installed them. I went 1320 75a. After about 2 months it doesn't shake as bad. Either that or I just got usto it.
Either way keep the videos coming. 💪
Hahah cheers mate, here's hoping they ease up over time ae. Lots more to come, almost at 1000 subs 😲 so thanks for your support
Cool as bro !! 😎
Thanks 😁🍻
haha wow big progress! I reckon pulling would be alignment, mine was only slightly out and was doing something similar. Also same deal with mine... single muffler and its so loud. I need to work out how to quieten it down. Going to be sick when you get the rear wheels driving too - its going to hook up great!
Yeah i think your right, i need to fit the sway bar anyways. Its actually ok at part throttle but wakes up at wide open throttle, which is what the twin loop is ment to do.
@@jdmnuggets oh one more question, are you running 62a mounts?
@@teamaxlestands uhhhhh cant remember will look it up, i think they are in the middle somewhere 🤷♂️
haha "give it the f*ckn jandal" - does it get any more kiwi? 😂
Lol !! I guess not 😂
@@jdmnuggets what is a jandal? And more kiwi?
@@Jason-nk4yr a jandal is a flip flop in other countries, apparently it comes from the term Japanese sandle 🤷♂️
haha and only in New Zealand (kiwi). Our name for flip flops confuses the Americans even more!
Lol you guys are cooked af tho, thongs 😂😂😂 chilli bin is an eski? What else. Smokes are darts?
Stoked to see you driving and know you built an Animal! I'm excited to start my build next month and will be watching all your videos again multiple times! Great work! I am curious if you have an LSD in there cause I am debating adding that in to the transmission I have.
Thanks mate!! Yeah im sure i checked and it wasn't LSD ( had a bar running through the front diff), but it is acting like it is 🤷♂️ maybe its the skinny tyres vs the torque lol
@@jdmnuggets I guess that is what happens when you put in a motor that is almost twice as strong as the original. I can't wait to see it with the AWD hooked up and see how you need to adjust the driveshaft, if at all.
Lol yeah!! Need to shorten the prop shaft, i think its 3/4 of an inch. Still need to measure it
It's still a 4wd/awd set up?
We're happy for your build 🚗
Yeah, i just need to install the prop shaft. Thanks 😁
Any crv parts for sale 😮 wing 🪽
1 buck and 1 sock for the car. Take it or leave it🤷♂️
Check your mounts, that rattle might be from the exhaust rattling around and vibrating on shit
There is plenty of space around the exhuast, i had to remove the tow bar to fit the muffler. Will need to clearance the tow bar bracket to get it to fit. It might have been the bolts from that lol
@@jdmnuggets make sure you check your torque mounts, your whole exhaust could be getting thrown around under there
If you have bad engine mounts or torque mounts then your whole exhaust, pipe and everything, would be moving around down there front to back and back to front not side to side.
Nothing is moving hence the extreme vibrations from the engine rattling the dash lol but thanks
Builds the car for the mrs . . . . . actually you know what she is going to hate this she can have the next one.
Hahahahah she is for sure concerned after seeing the video 😂🤷♂️
@@jdmnuggets Its ok babe, when its done it will light up all 4 wheels instead.
Ahahah nek minute churbo
you'll get used to it, lol. I have an rd1 with the 1320 UEL full exhaust it sounds amazing, I love it. Loud but a great boggle (like a subaru) nice deep tone, swapped a b18c in it and it is fun. Winter is here, can't wait to drift!
Ahaha nice one mate, yeah with the jdm k24a3 its similar to my old s2000. The stock skinny tyres no alignment and no front sway bar isn't helping 😂😂
also bro this is only FWD? gotta go AWD man and upgrade to a 08-11 crv or element diff, makes a world of difference.
You should watch my other videos on the build 🙂. It has a jdm 2004 crv awd manual k series gearbox and rear differential. Jdm cl9 accord k24a3. Same as the tsx k24a2 but the jdm variant has slightly better cams. I still need to shorten the prop shaft to put it into awd. Also it will be tuned in fwd. Thanks for watching 😁🍻
