***I HEALED MY HIATAL HERNIA *** I was so desperate to fix my hiatal hernia that I tried everything. Stretches helped relieve some of the discomfort, but I could not eat much and had dropped so much weight and was at the end of my rope! So one morning first thing I drank a tall glass of warm water (probably 14-15 ounces) and went out and jumped on the trampoline for about 1 minute ( just staying on my feet up and down, no flips :D also, I used a personal size trampoline, but not sure that matters) and it’s GONE!!!! The gravity pulled my stomach back down into place!! -BUT, it’s imperative you DO NOT LiFT for a long time until the esophagus opening heals tighter. I think I lift 5 to 10 lbs safely. 3 months of basically no lifting. Then even after that, be very careful never to over lift!! I’m so sorry for each of you struggling and I am happy to bring you hope! Happy jumping!! ♥️

Hi! Congrats on your healing your hh! Awesome news! You say you stopped lifting, but you also say you life 5-10 lbs. Were you lifting 5-10 lbs the entire time, or only after you healed? Also, how did you know it healed? How did you know the opening was tighter? Did you do your exercises (the jumping) every morning for 3 months? How long would you jump? Sorry - lots of questions, but I'm curious about this method. Thanks in advance!

First of all: this video has changed my life. Thank you for that.
Second: In 2018, I did a 30-day silent retreat where I would do walking and sitting meditation around the clock. The intensity of the stress (surfaced emotions/trauma), one meal a day, alongside poor posture in sitting meditation (pushed stomach up over time) and holding my arms behind my back during walking meditation (compressed my nerves that were already going through a lot of emotional stress) slowly gave rise to symptoms that I just thought were a part of the healing process. I was really just hurting myself without knowing it. Indescribable panic, chest pain, and heart palpitations came up on the retreat, and my bowel movements have never been the same since. It’s very difficult for me to lose weight now as much as I exercise and I have known for a while that something else is going on. I finally feel like I found an answer with your work and I can’t believe it. Would love to work with you some day.
Question: at 13:16 are you referring to the vagus nerve?
Thanks for letting me share, and for reading if you made it this far.
To anyone struggling. Never lose hope. Healing is possible!

I have most of those symptoms, have been to the er a many a time like you said. Exact diagnosis. Panic attack or . I was recommended to a cardiologist and a Gasternologist, my heart is good. I went to the Gasternologist and performed a colonosophy and an upper GI. They told me my stomach lining was thin and that I had a small Hieatal Hernia. Gave me a prescription and said the hieatal was too small to correct. I have all the symptoms that you described. You are the first person in years to pinpoint my issues. The cardiologists have put me on blood pressure medication, and for some reason, Ido not think that is problem. I live in Arizona, I would like to know if you know of anyone here that believes or understands the syndrome like you. Thank you for letting me know that I'm not crazy or imagining this issue. It is real.

Interesting presentation. I'm surprised you didn't mention Synthroid as a cause of hiatal hernia. I was told that is how mine got started as we weren't told to take Synthroid with a full glass of water when I was put on it in the early 1960s. We also weren't told to take it an hour before or after eating. I'm now stuck with having to take Omeprazole every day for acid reflux.

Wish we have someone like you here in our country. My life’s been miserable, chronic headaches, muscle pains, nec pain and/or stiffness, dizziness, balance problems, digestive and breathing problems. Hi Vikki, this is amazing thank you for sharing - I have been suffering so much of late with my Hiatus Hernia symptoms. I get so many heart flutters all throughout the day it often feels like I get these shocking feelings of spasm in my lower oesophagus which most of the time send my heart into a racing episode which is terrifying. I have had my heart checked and ruled out for anything wrong with it.
I have had the same responses from doctors who just pass it as pure anxiety and panic attacks!

I talked to a PA who worked with my surgeon, who commented that I was really at risk of constriction and being unable to swallow food if I did not get the hernia repaired. Things i learnt:: no black tea, a pint of water in the morning, warm water relaxes the diaphragm, stay lean and never get fat, exercise, alcohol is not good, watch the diet. It can be a curse but it will keep you doing the right things....in other words you will have no choice but to adjust and maintain the situation.
Be carefull of doctors as they medicate without finding the root causes. No to PPI'S.
HCL supplements can help with candida. Glucosamine can heal a leaky gut( no for cancer patients)

Dr.Vikki . Please help. In Jan 2021, I was prescribed medication for acid reflux although I do not have heartburn but I do have bloating, excessive belching, anxiety, and an indescribable symptom in the middle of the chest that usually leads to palpitation. I had the worst palpitation on 28th Feb 2022 during my badminton game, the heart pounded so hard and fast but thank God I did not collapse. I had 2 other earlier attacks during badminton before but they were not as bad. I doubt I will be playing badminton again until my condition improves. Anyway, I am puzzled when I realized my endoscopy's result says I have a grade 3 hiatus hernia which my doctor didn't even talk about it. Apple cider and Vitamin C are among the many items my nutritionist sold to me, then I developed gastritis. I am now confused if my stomach is producing too much acid or otherwise.

I’ve been suffering from digestive issues and anxiety for the last 6 months this far, the first 5 months was going from doctor to doctor having multiple tests and trips to the ER and Urgent care with the same results...”you have anxiety, take this medication to help it”. I didn’t take it. The whole 6 months I’ve been out on sick leave because of my symptoms. Last month I finally found a Naturopath doctor that got my diagnosis of my conditions. She told me I have sliding hiatal hernia which I’ve never heard before. She did visceral manipulation on me which really helped but it doesn’t last long. Most likely the sibo is what’s causing the hernia as it produces a lot of gas within the body and this starts to push up in the stomach with a lot of pressure on the LES slowly causing it to open allowing stomach to push through and herniate , you need to start fast tract diet which is limiting fetmentable carbohydrates in your diet to stop all the gas building up and kill of sibo

Hi Iv recently just found out I have a 2cm hiatal hernia. I wish you was my doctor because the ones Iv seen have not explained much about it to me and they basically said I have to be on PPI for the rest of my life. I really hope I can be normal again as my acid reflux is bad and I get panic attacks in my sleep for the past year and a half. I live in the uk is there an email I can contact you by?

I have a double major scoliosis (50 degrees right thoracic, 55 degrees lumbar) and I think THAT is exacerbating it- (maybe it was caused by being constipated & also doing abdominal exercises).... does that sound plausible? I might add, when I relax by laying downor leaning far back sitting, I feel better... in fact when I get up in the morning I feel great, my problem gets worse as I move through my day - but even in the middle of the day when it gets worse, if I lay down or lay back and relax, it magically goes away!
