  • मुंबई की सबसे महत्वाकांक्षी मुंबई मेट्रो योजना जोरो से शुरु है। इस परियोजना के तीन लाइन पहले ही शुरु हो चुके है। अंडरग्राउंड मेट्रो 3 यानी एक्वा लाइन पर काम भी अपनी पूरी रफ्तार से चल रहा है। मुंबई मेट्रो में 14 लाइन और लगभग 225 स्टेशन हैं। MMRDA का दावा है कि एक बार मेट्रो की सभी लाइन शुरु होने के बाद मुंबई की लोकल ट्रेन की भीड़ कम होगी और ट्रैफिक की समस्या से भी छुटकारा मिलेगा।इस वीडियो में हमने मेट्रो की शुरु हो चुकी लाइन और आगामी शुरु होनेवाले लाइन के बारे में डिटेल और सटीक जानकारी देने की कोशिश की है।
    The most ambitious Mumbai Metro project is in progress with 3 operational lines. The work of the most awaited Mumbai Metro Underground project i.e. Metro 3 aka Aqua Line has been expedited. Mumbai’s metro consists of 14 lines with approximately 225 stations. The MMRDA claims that these lines when active will ease congestion in Mumbai local trains and will improve Mumbai road traffic too.       True I gonna take time right now coz there are just too many under construction skyscrapers and many rail project and road project which is contributing in the pollution once all this shit is over pollution will be reduced

    It will not be lifeline…unlike locals , in metros we have to change lines a lot whereas in locals we have direct connections no need to get up from seat

    Andheri bridge to bann nahi raha. Bhalti jagah khod rahe ho! 2021 mein khulna tha Mumbai metro 3. 2024 mein bhi deadline nahi pata. No one can say it will be open on this date. Dubai started building their metro in 2006. They declared that it will open on 9/9/2009 and it did. That’s project execution.

    Metro ka kaamfast hona chahiye ,me vashi navi Mumbai me rehta hu,agar mujhe kabhi andheri ya borivali jana hoto toh aadha din jata hai 😅.achha huwa andheri tak metro hai jise lene ko muje vashi to kurla by train fir kurla se ghatkoper aana padta hai.

    Problem with Mumbai metro is that it’s too little too slow! Demand exceeds supply. Rail Connection between Mumbai and Navi Mumbai over the sea along with Trans harbour link bridge should have been built by now.
    Metro connection between current airport and upcoming NAVI Mumbai airport is not there.
    The lack of coordination between different infrastructure projects leads to increased traffic chaos and traffic jams as people are forced to use cars.
    For a city like Mumbai and NAVI Mumbai, a total length of 2000 kms of metro/suburban train is needed today!

      @arun Yes. Mumbai needs 2000 km long metro/rail connection because Greater Mumbai Region is 6000+ sqkm area. This region has highest area in India and one of the greatest regions of the world.

    *Mumbai Metro has been made without any Planning* . WhereEver they got space they have just Erected Metro Pillar.
    Still there is *NO PARALLEL OPTION AGAINST CENTRAL WESTERN & HARBOUR LINE OF LOCAL TRAIN* .

    I went from Dahisar to Andheri via red line, took me 45 minutes. Went back to Mira Road from Andheri in fast local, 1 station far from Dahisar, took 20 minutes.
    Made me realise that long commuters won't benefit from the metro at all. In Mumbai, time>convenience. So local will be the definite choice of people as always.
    Metro's max speed is 60 kmph. It has a stop every 1 minute and it stops for atleast 30 seconds. The whole process of stopping takes atleast 2 minutes FOR 1 STOP! Deacceleration, full stop, door open for 30 seconds, door close, acceleration. All this takes at least 2 minutes. And such stops comes every 45-50 seconds of running!! Thats insane and slow af🤯 Average speed metro could maintain is hardly 25-30 kmph.
    On the other hand, fast local max speed is 100-110 kmph. Stops after every 5-7 minutes only. Average speed maintained is 60-65 kmph. Thats 2x of metro.
    We clearly have a winner here!
