  • Kotilingeshwara Temple is a Hindu temple located in Kammasandra village in Kolar district, Karnataka, India. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is famous for its 33-meter-tall Shivalinga, which is the tallest in Asia. The temple also has a large number of other Shivalingas, as well as a 11-meter-tall statue of Nandi, the bull. The temple is open to all visitors and is a popular pilgrimage destination for Hindus.

    The temple was built in 1980 by Swami Sambha Shiva Murthy.
    The Shivalinga is made of black granite and is surrounded by a 12-meter-high gold-plated dome.
