The little flex to the battery is for communication with the battery, including turning the output of the battery on.

So, you've given me the motivation to finally remove the wifi chip from my switch and put down a pre-reballed chip. the removal came out perfect, no pads broken, nice and clean, now I have to lay down the preballed wifi chip and pray it lands in the right position.
Just don't blast your airflow too much and it should go great, fingers crossed for you (keep us updated with the success lol)

My brothers laptop was broken so it took it apart for him and inspected everything and I couldn't find the problem. After a few hours I find out he has given me a different charger so it was never going to charge with that charger...... there was nothing wrong with it xD
At least he got a clean laptop now but from now on I'm checking with different chargers xD

Get an ultrasonic cleaner, also shouldve avoided running jumper next to isil ic, it will eventually need to be replaced.
I do have an ultrasonic mate. Mind me asking why you wouldn't run a jumper next to an IC? Not questioning your logic or anything, I just genuinely never heard of a reason why it shouldn't be done 🤷

You do really need to get a sonic cleaner as when u was fixing the ps5 the bord was a dirty state and it dont look to good when u buy a second hand device and the bord is all dirty get a decent supersonic cleaner

How do you know where all the screws go? Do you just remember
Yeah sort of, I take mental notes while I'm disassembling the device but I also put the screws for specific things next to their respective clips too. Once you do a few of the same unit you just get used to them in the end though. For example the A2289 I did in this video I had to take mental notes, but the A1466 2014 I can do with my eyes shut lol
As far as the evidence is concerned , take photos for reference that way you could clean the whole board and just maybe thats all it needs . Paul Danniels has done that a few times

It really doesn't have a definitive meaning when it comes to multimeters mate. I call it open line myself, but that meter I use for videos (because of the on screen function) says overload on the software
Technically it's over-limit; speficially that the value being measured is beyond the bounds of the range selected
Partially working, than it is already fixed at the beginning! Considering my personal opinion to something with an apple on it. 😅

I prefer windows personally, but Mac has its' benefits for productivity so I use one while I'm not in the workshop 😀
