I have a macbook air a2179 which was water damaged on the audio board area. I replaced the audio board, but the speakers does not work however it works fine with a headphone. In the system settings, It seems that the system does recognize the macbook internal speakers and when I increase or decrease the volume everything seems normal but no sound from the speakers. I updated the system, I tried doing PRAM but I was not successful (Although I am not sure if I did it correctly or not). I am not sure if this is related to or not, but there is a tiny led on the logic board beside the button for discharging current which is always on. Another point is that if we suppose that the right speaker which is connected to the audio board is water damaged, then why should not the right speaker work?! I am not sure what is happening but I think something is avoiding the speakers to work.
I have this macbook, should I be able to charge from both usb c ports? I can only charge from one. One port has 20 volts and the other has 5 volts. Any idea what it could be?
We love it when smart people share their knowledge with the financially impaired.
Explained very well ...doing good work brother....u r helping so many by these videos....thanks.
Glad to hear that
It is a wonderful feeling to see that Apple logo in the end!
Just a tip. Inject voltage into a small cap not a large one as it will sink more heat during injection.
Good morning Nice job well done and keep up the good work. Which thermal camera model do you use?
Qianli super cam x
