You now that you are doing right when a prey animal loves and trust you. Chicken birds are very social and are intelligent like crows. Their feelings are not because of food... You became the world for them.

I'm so glad I found this video. It makes me feel so dear! I once had a flock of chickens. For a while some kind of infectious disease caused their feathers all falling off and all the chicken in my backyard looked like the supermarket chicken coming back to life and standing up. Then they pecked at each other. One of the chickens was the smallest. For some reason, he was half the size of the other chickens and never grew up. The other chickens always bullied him. The skin on the top of its head was pecked and eaten. Before it healed, those chickens started to peck that area again. I had no choice but to raise it alone inside my house. From then on, this little chicken regarded me as his only buddy in life. Every time I came back from outside, he would run to me quickly, follow me closely, and never leave for a moment. Unfortunately, one day this little one was letting out for some fresh air in the yard, he was lost. I don't know what animal stole it. I felt so heartbroken. I still want to cry whenever I think about it now😢😢😢😢

I had a hen named " Vanny " She was a striped one and had grey ( or gray )and white feathers She always jumped in the bench thing where i sit all the time, and let me pet her She became my favorite before passing away On December of 2021 I loved her so much I had another on named nugget, she had a leg issue when she was a little chick beofre she died at the age of ? Years old ( pretty sure she was 9 months old ) Then it goes to my quail named amy ( her nickname was cookie by my mom and oldest brother) She was my last quail left, i always bring her inside whenever i get home from school to do homework She passed away on " March 13 of 2023 " she was alive for one last time before an hour later, my mom told me to come and see what happened, and there was amy lying there dead... This moment made me cry cause she my only hope for this... She's gone... I had two more named wanda and glory Wanda was kind of naughty when she was little She is now calm but she is gone now For glory, she will sometimes come out whenever we do so, she would kinda fly higher than the other ones She is also gone now.... Today, i have quails and new chickens I have another one named nugget after my nugget who's leg was like broken or so... I named nugget after the other... And glory after the glory we had with wanda I had dogs as my first pets I wish they were all still alive so my chickens and quails today could meet from They are gone.... Hopefully i can remember them for as long as possible
