Mark my words - Ankit Shah is an idiot. What happened to all the hype of BRICS currency, dedollarization etc My prediction was and is that even if BRICS currency is born, it will fail miserably.

Well it's time for the BRICS- New World Order to come up with a default reserve currency or simply go back to gold as the reserve. It will be too chaotic for each country to trade in their respective currencies with the daily change in exchange rates.
All big corps are just a cohort of centralised system working together, and any damage to one can have a dangerous ripple effect on every other one. I learned a long time ago to not trust corporations. Most of my money is in the stock market and my businesses. I keep only what I need to spend in my checking account.

Indian IT is already taking a beating. I work in Corporate Finance function of an IT Svcs company supporting USA. No new deals are coming through and existing customers (especially insurance and medical sectors) are running away. So there’s a lot of cost pressure to at least make margins (profits). A lot of jobs in the IT industry might be in trouble. You were right!

yes but as capital means it is owned, like a slave. No need to pay wages just reduce value as it get worn.
Its not rocket science to know that currency are viewed with suspicion but money is trusted. Money is real goods (gold silver rice oil etc) where as currency is an artificial scale which each nation manufactures to measure money. Scale can be changed and replaced anytime. Gold silver is best form of money that can be used as currency for international transactions. Every Indian family knows and that's the reason indian people kept buying gold instead of so much disincentives slapped by government. I cannot understand how government cannot see this coming.

BRICS currency does not remove Dollars out of equation, it gives BRICS countries flexibility to amongst themselves without compromising their country currency. India can deal with US in Dollars.

All things Ankit ji has mentioned was bang on. Except one thing as per my research that was all businesses and specially Parsi businessman has been given special privileges than local/hindu people to make more divide. And Britishers chose Mumbai to be one of the location for trades being in west coast hence quite no of businesses moved from Gujrat to mumbai to avail more benefits from britishers and increase their wealth employing local population. And these businesses were flourished due to better ground support and good atmosphere in mumbai. If that environment and everything was given in Surat then why would businessmen shift to some other cities.
I wish Ankit Shah should be advisor to government.

If the concept of dedollerisation is to take hold ,why is India refusing to join SCO currency? Which could replace the dollar in one go.
There's no SCO currency. De-dollarisation is already complete. What you're seeing now is the after-effects of it.
BRIC currency is not an invention of China or Russia. It was none other than John Maynard Keynes who proposed the idea at Bretton Woods in 1944. That the currency is backed by gold n that no national currency should be the world's reserve currency. As it was, his proposal was overruled by US. If India thinks that this idea does not align with it's interest, India should leave BRIC gracefully.
India should move with BRICS by all means.

Indian government gold reserves are quite low as compared to Russia , China and other western countries. Gold holdings in indian households is very high, but not government holdings. Indian natural resources are also quite low. So a gold backed or commodity backed currency will be a lose lose proposition for India. So, how could India justify a gold backed currency?
Exactly - In order for the govt to acquire gold will they order citizens to surrender their coins & bars over certain amount like US did in 1933. That will be not acceptable. So using Gold standard is difficult for India.
