I HAD A GEAR BOX CONVERSION FROM SMG TO MANUAL, THE GARAGE WHERE I HAD THE WORK DONE COULD REMAP THE ECU AND THE CAR WASNT DRIVING RIGHT. I SAW KUSTOM REMAP ON YOU TUBE AND SAW THAT THEY HAVE REMAPPED M3 BEFORE. I HAVE OVER THE MOON WITH RESULTS

I'm thinking of doing mine too it looks well worth it. If I can give you a bit of a tip though, change your gearbox oil, it sounds a bit sluggish on the change. I did mine and it really improved it.

Hi what elements as hardware should be done in order to achieve this level of power increase, is it only remapping or need egr removal, hybrid turbo install ... Can you please share with us more ? Thanks

@@kustomremaps6371 mine has been mapped its about 300bhp I think but its stupid and I can't find anyone to set it back to factory settings..
How is the gearbox holding on?
I mean is the torque converter sliping too much on this setup considering the 2200kg weight of the X5

It won't happen, them z6hp boxes can stand a silly amount of torque... The weight means nothing since most BMW are heavy

This box in an e46 is totally different issue...
700kg difference ower this X5...
Thats why Im asking is the torque converter corced to slip too much
@@BrunoMezenga2408 your weight issue means nothing, it effects nothing, all your interested in is the torque rating, and if it's a zf unit not a GM unit , they withstand well over 700nm of torque, which is also something mass is factored into. Another thing to take note is that this box also generally gets remapped as well as the engine remap, the clamping pressures can be nicely increased.
@@BrunoMezenga2408 this is 6g(gears) box, made by ZF and from e60. Auto box in e46 is made by GM , I think 🤔 and it's not 6g like in E60 or this x5(and this 3.0d is in E60 too- very good box and engine)

I only use Kustom Rmepas - I have had my mercedes vito done in the past.
I wanted more power from my engine and gearbox so I have arranged the mobile team to come out and I'm very impressed with the difference, my skoda its totally a different car, smoother gear change, gears changing even more better then before, engine sounds and responds 10 times better.

Well I've just bought a e53 3.0d 2006 and I'm definitely getting a remap done now had my Vito 115cdi done last year and it's faster then some good cars I've had 180 bhp & 400 nm it's so quick love it

What fuel economy you getting after map
Usually 10% lower. I got a same chip tuning done, 3.0 l gas engine, you feel like a 4.4 litre gas engine!!!👍
