All the best to Adam sounds like you need some support right now so stick with these two wise men they will keep you entertained, they certainly have helped me through a rough couple of years just by enjoying there content i will always be great full to them for that. Great video John you can do serious just as well as comedy so glad you started to do these top man.
It is usually burnt for fuel at something like a power station or occasionally a farm house/green house boiler for heating. Due to the oil trapped in the stem it has a high calorific value. Some people will also bale and burn oil seed rape straw as well. Due to the nature of the straw and its innate slipperiness these are generally round baled and tied with net wrapping as the string tends to slide off the edges of the bales. The bales are difficult to handle and almost impossible to stack to any sense.
What do the green lights in the top right of the cab indicate? I thought it might be max lift/height/weight combo but didn't seem to correspond to what John was doing.
lift indicator- how much weight on the front end.... changes because of him booming out etc. basically depending how far the load is out/up/combination depends if it's in the handlers safe working range
such a lovely team you are , truly blessed

What happened to the stack in Haynes it was all fallen over?
I'm not knowledgeable with farming too much. What do you do with the straw after stacked? Do you leave it exposed to the weather?
Yer and gradually use it for animals bedding or sell some of the bales
