Our infrastructure has suffered for years. We can see it in our roads and bridges. We are, as far as I can tell, using the same type of material to pave our roads as we did when I was a child a very long time ago. Only difference being they use more modern machinery today put it on the roadways.
Seems to me that the taxpayers are not responsible for maintaining businesses that are not using methods and materials that are up to date and offer a longevity to the product they sell. It is difficult to believe that better materials are not available for our roads. I hope for the safety of everyone that the decisions made about the future of a bridge crossing be wise and beneficial to those who are actually financing that bridge. ❣🌻

The Brent Spence Bridge needs a overhaul!
Like build a brand new bridge!
Do you really want blood on your hands because you believe it only needs a makeover?
People's lives are at risk here!
Fix it or build another bridge!!!

You keep listing all of these figures on the number of structurally deficient bridges, but never mention that the Brent Spence is not one of them. The bridge is NOT structurally deficient.
