The drummers in this vid are Joey Jordison and Michael Jochum, with Kalen Chase doing some percussion. Johcum and Chase were both added to Korn's live show back in 2005. Kalen also does some backing vocals and various other stuff in the backing band. On 2nd guitar is Clint Lowery, formerly of the band Sevendust and currently with the band Dark New Day. Lowery has since been replaced by Shane Gibson and Jordison has been replaced by Ray Luzier.
KORN RULES THE WORLD OF NU-METAL!! The've proven that they're here to stay. It's too bad David left the band for a little while due to health problems. I would like to wish him a speedy recovery. KORN will always be in my prayers. Their music was the inspiration for me to write the Fiction Fantasy/ adventure story "of Wolves and Sheep" subtitled "Rain". I hope it's in stores by Christmas. I haven't written the dedication to KORN yet. It's hard to put mere words to Rock-n Roll GODS.
If you dont like korn anymore why are you watching this video. and just because they lost 2 members it doesnt mean they are dead, many succesfull bands go trhough dramatic changes, both in line-up and style.
heads style at 1:05 is just insane, he is the coolest gitarist ever and my most fav member out of any band, if u know a member of a band cooler plz tell me
Jonathan Davis ( Vocals) James "Munky" Shaffer ( Guitar) Reginald " Fieldy" Arvizu (Bass) Joey Jordison ( Drums) he s the drummer for the Band Slipknot. Clint Lowery (Guitars) Kalen Chase ( Backing Vocals, percussion) Micheal Joshum (percussion) Zac Baird ( Keboard, backing vocals) thats It . cheers
They had a 2nd drummer and the percussionist with David when they toured the Asia Pacific, I saw them in Sydney, it's just to make it more percussive and for songs like Throw Me Away where they used a massive fuck-off sheet of metal for that banging sound in the chorus, awesome experience. It's like having 2 guitarists play the same chords, it makes the sound hit you that much harder and rock through you.
yeah i agree. david knows that the heavy korn song is not fast drum beats, maybe a little slow, but real heavy. you can notice on the intro to here to stay (not their live intro, the studio main riff), that joey here, tries doing it fast.
That is joey jordison he subbed til korn got a new drummer for the whole european tour and joey gave korn a badass sound damn i wish that can happend again
actulally its because joey in on drums, from slpknot he usually plays stuff very fast korn said it themselves in an interview that he used to play too fast for them and that they have now found smth in between the albums speed and his speed if you watch 2008 footage, where ray luzier is on drums, they play it almost normal
totally agreed.! In my opinion their best album was TAKE A LOOK IN THE MIRROR. I don't like their new stuff that much but I'm looking forward to their 9th Studio Album, JD said that they will return to their roots...............we'll see
BOY you don't know what the hell you're talking about...Joey was better than David and Ray...why don't you leave the drumming to the ones that know what they're talking about
Lol what you talking about anything would fit as long as its right tempo and timing, but sure what difference does it make it still a class heavy song which is what we need!!! \m/
Always the Best. RIP Joey
joey's distinctive beat is noticeable .. rip
Joey's impact in the world of drums is irreplaceable
i can't believe how well they make the live songs sound just like the album version, it is soooo epic, love korn

the best intro ever
This intro before "Here to Stay" was so kick ass to hear in concert.
My favorite Korn song ever man, this song owns.
love the sound of the snare on the drum kit :)
DUN DUN DUNA DUNA DUNADA
DUN DUN DUNA DUNA DUNADA
Good god!! Korn is my favorite band of all time!! Saw them live in May! I would see them again in a heartbeat. Can't wait for the new album next year.
this is munky's favorite song to play :D

whoa, love the new version, the way it begins just builds great intensity.
This is honestly one of the best vids on tube.
Love the faster tempo, the drumming from the late great Joey, and JD’s death metal growl on the last BREAK IT around 4:00!!!
2:43 , joey couldn't play slow anymore, double-bass ftw :D
That snare and ghost notes at the main riff are off the charts , brings back David's drumming from the first albums, much more complex and rithmic
Joey's drumming makes this feel almost like an early Korn song, really interesting!
Hell YeaH !!!
We are to stay hearing joy and the best one muzik Intro....2020
4:36 All those cymbals being hit with all those drummers sounds sick.
its cool how J.D just comes out and starts headbanging
What a great sound with Joey In the drummer !!
forgot to say, love the new version. Its awesome how everything pauses right before Johnathan sings.
my favorite part was 0:00 - 5:11.
@Mighty Matthew Tobar holy fuck this is an old comment
David: Original Drum Tempo
Joey: Fast Drum Tempo
Ray: Slow Drum Tempo
A melhor Versão aovivo
I wouldn't call him better. But he just fits KoRn better.
I was there - believe me, the sound is much better when you stand in the crowd ;)
KORN IS MY LIFE!♥
Omg i love the drums in the beginning with the extra base drum. Much better than the original in my opinion!
sweetest intro to that song!
Woah That was a Badass Intro! lol
and yes Joey is the one with the Red Jacket...
oh my god,i luv this song and how Munky plays the guitar
0:59 - 1:12 Fieldy looks so badass !
I like how korn has slower tempos than Joey is used to in slipknot so korn plays their songs a little faster with him
one word ... AMAZING !!!!!
If you dont like korn anymore why are you watching this video. and just because they lost 2 members it doesnt mean they are dead, many succesfull bands go trhough dramatic changes, both in line-up and style.
omfg, what performance.. i'm seeing them in zagreb croatia on 3. July,, so happy about that:)
Is Joey wearing Jonathons old signature uniformm
Some ADIDAS sweatss
answer ME!
Looks like he's wearing Red Adidas sweats. Which i dont think jon ever wore. Hopefully that answers your question 12 years later.
this is awesome!
i liked this video 5 years ago, and it still kicks ass!!!!!
this is a perfect headbanging song. love it
korn is one of the best bands ever
korn for life!
Amazing!
I'm not sure but I've heard rumors as early as Jan. 2010 and as late as Mar. 2010. Only time will tell but I'll to keep you posted.
heads style at 1:05 is just insane, he is the coolest gitarist ever and my most fav member out of any band, if u know a member of a band cooler plz tell me
double-pedal sounds fuckin' great!!!!!
Love this song, KoRn Rocks

*theirs
@@richardmetalfan94 Thanks for grammar nazi'ing a typo I made 12 years ago.
Joey in drums?? Hell Yes!!!!
I guaruntee you every single one of those bands is Korn influenced, most likely musically, and if not at least in style and appearance.
this set is very cool, fantastic drumming.
the intro was amazing
They had a 2nd drummer and the percussionist with David when they toured the Asia Pacific, I saw them in Sydney, it's just to make it more percussive and for songs like Throw Me Away where they used a massive fuck-off sheet of metal for that banging sound in the chorus, awesome experience. i have got tickets for them in 13th of feb. It will gonna be awsome
i like to see joey putting in his own touches i dig it
ich war live dabei :D ich bin auch da zu sehen^^
I totally agree wth you, boy!
;D...KoRn is one of my favorit!
Yes, he is. He is the bass player.
Head & David left.
Jon, Munky and Fieldy are still in KoRn.
i like how they all come out one by one thats fucking awsome
awesome.. the show in Winnipeg, Manitoba was fucking amazing!!
awesome intro and the drums sound just how the should have been since the beggining
he is pretty good, i dont know what is up with with punkemo, but joey is one of the best drummers of all time.
Joey Jordisons drumming makes this EVEN better than the original.
Eh don’t know about that. But it’s a solid cover fs
Way too sped up. He had a hard time keeping time live
KORN KORN and only KORN!...everyone else thanx for being there, but you will never be korn!..ROck on you guys..love ya JD
Korn at its Peak, Woodstock 99.
missed the hell outta those days
yeah i agree. david knows that the heavy korn song is not fast drum beats, maybe a little slow, but real heavy. you can notice on the intro to here to stay (not their live intro, the studio main riff), that joey here, tries doing it fast.
That is joey jordison he subbed til korn got a new drummer for the whole european tour and joey gave korn a badass sound damn i wish that can happend again
This song is straight legit
i saw them at hultsfred festival!
and man, bet korn consert i ever seen!
actulally its because joey in on drums, from slpknot
he usually plays stuff very fast
korn said it themselves in an interview that he used to play too fast for them and that they have now found smth in between the albums speed and his speed
if you watch 2008 footage, where ray luzier is on drums, they play it almost normal
do you know the level of awesomeness that will be on.
the bass sounds great!
I WAS THERE
IT WAS SO COOL!!!!!!
you are saying the same thing i´m thinking about. he should go back where he came from
Dave Silveira is currently on hiatus.
Korn's drummer for their conecerts is Joey of Slipknot.
joey best drummer possible ever and defanitly wit in the last 15 year
Jonathan is fantastic!
1:20 that head banging cold 🤘🏽
Love this version of the ending too 4:35
Like someone said in other video.. "Do yourself a favor and go see Korn with Ray Luzier". Korn is getting better again.
awesome bit of bass slapping by fieldy on this!
OMFG ! Nice double pedal at 2.08 and 2.52 :D it's so evil :D
hope she comes, could use a little excitement in my life.
8 people playing on the scene and only 3 of them are KoRn. Sad but true.
I love the outro
totally agreed.! In my opinion their best album was TAKE A LOOK IN THE MIRROR. I don't like their new stuff that much but I'm looking forward to their 9th Studio Album, JD said that they will return to their roots...............we'll see
Freak on a leash is my favorite and i think its their best song
I love Joey, but if there was ever a drummer unsuited to Korn, it's him. Turns one of the most crushing riffs into some hip-hop shit.
yes, it was
i like the way how joey jordison sports that red adidas jacket just like how jonathan sported those stripes in KoRn's early years (and also until now)
check polish woodstock festival, this year there where 450.000 people, approx. 3 times as many as here.
I think it's that there's been 2 drummers when they perform live and it's been like that since See You On the Other Side.
Jonny always sounds outta breathe live. :)
Anticipating all the fuuurkd up feelings again!
HE DID!
