if SNL did a better job at writing sketches based on the talent they had... he wouldve been my favourite cast member.. but his talents were wasted over there.. while they give people who are less talented to impeesonate celebirties and they are never right on like jay is.
If Jay was actually funnier and a better actor I’m sure he’d last longer, but his stand up is terrible and his acting in his own canceled show was weak and outshined by his supporting cast.
Jay is a great actor, in order to do celebrity impressions like Jay you have to be a good actor. It's not easy to mirror celebrities even down to there body movements. SNL wasn't a good platform for Jay. SNL is corny, any show that kept david spade on its show you know its sucks.
