When they pick up an additional 20 or so Conservative seats that Labour would not be targeting, plus possibly 5 SNP seats, they may not be looking a joke. BLUE WALL WILL FALL.
I'm glad abuse in the young farmers community is finally getting some headlines, I've had suspicions that it goes on quite widely for a while now so it's good that it's in the spotlight
The Libs have always struggled with First Past the Post. In many elections over the years I have seen the Liberals and/or Lib Dems come second with a very substantial vote in many constituencies, but it never translated into seats. They needed a critical mass of the popular vote but have never quite got there.
Arrr my name is Nigel obviously lol I was even born in England. Please excuse at 63 (4 years living in uk) during the Margaret's rain of terror including the boris Boris ;-)) Brexit pretty much stopped me following EU politics. No point having a British passport if you can't live in the EU.
No they are pointing out that the press are a joke, well done but can we forgive Clegg. The system is a joke not the people trying to gain representation.
Clegg (and the entire party) understood that whatever they did going into the 2010 coalition they were going to get the blame. There was an ‘extraordinary meeting’ and Ashdown came out after and explicitly spelt this out. If they hadn’t gone into coalition they would have never have been viewed seriously again. Coalition meant and always will mean compromising on manifesto pledges for both parties. I don’t think the Liberals negotiated well, especially on the so called PR referendum. Tuition fees were an undeliverable pledge - no way The Tories would agree to that, and Brown and Clegg seemed completely unwilling to do business. In retrospect the 2010 government was by far the least egregious of all the last 14 years - there is an obvious reason for that. I simply do not understand why people hate Clegg so much.

The Clegg issue is nearly 10 years ago. We have to move on
