TR2 was my first taste of the TR universe - back in 1996/1997 when I was a first/second year in university thereabouts. My older brother-in-law had a fancy computer and always had the latest games. I used to house-sit their home over holidays for some extra cash - and would sit for hours into the wee morning battling those damn sharks and trying to figure out what the hell to do and where to go. Loved every minute of it! Thank you for the memories - all the best from South Africa.

This kind of game (i love this franchise, untill they released the 2013 reboot and tr died for me) doesnt fit the current generation. Kids nowadays dont want to stop to think in how to surpass an obstacle... thats why the tr 2013 and 15 are like this. They even give you the option to "assassins creed vision" to solve puzzles... thats how cheap the current gen kids are. And they think the reboot is a masterpiece... man, i wonder how pissed of they would be in temple of xian! hahahahahaha
I’m only nine and I hate the new tomb raider games I miss playing this game with my older sister on the PlayStation1 I now have a ps vita and I can play all five of the old tomb raider games on it. It brings back sooo much memories!

Oh my god the HOURS I spent on TRI and II. This piece of music reminds me of the hours spent running around Lara's mansion, trying to beat that maze when I was a kid! Kids today will never know the pleasure and nostalgia this game brings and it makes me so sad. I've played all TR's to date and the new ones don't even have a fragment of this master craft.
Playing that made me fall in love with classical music. There was a record player or something in the game, and I'd turn on the music and go do cool acrobatic stuff in and around the pool of Laura's mansion. Man how I yearn for those days as a kid
...finding out you could pop this ps1 disc in a normal cd player and hear the tracks, sound effects, ambient background noise and speech was like finding the best hidden secret bonus in the game... :)
This game seriously needs to be remade like they did with the first game in Anniversary. It was my favourite of the classics, played it all the time and have the Mac version on my old machine. New Lara wants to visit the Temple of Xian one day ( Easter egg, Rise of the Tomb Raider ) needs to happen. Also transition 1 holds serious nostalgia of climbing ladders.

Legend Anniversary and Underworld were still good. Eidos ran Core Deisgn Into the ground by making them churn a game out every year and they also released AOD early and that finally killed Core Deisgn for no fault of their own

Was finishing this game off in April 2016, was pulling the arrow out of the dragon and it crashed, had the game since 2000. Nearest thing I had to a family heirloom, but loved TR1, TR2 and TR3 music really great made the game, wish they would just go back to the original format and similar music
This music is sick. I played it on ps1. My first tomb raider game. I also played revilations in 2002 but got stuck in the catacombs somewhere and as result never finished the game. Back then there was no youtube so finding clues was hard.

The music at track 8 is from the level Floating Islands after opening the doors with 2 plaques. You destroy the flying warrior with sword that rising from below the bridge using M16 machine gun. This music stops when you picked the silver dragon.

this took me years to find. i used it in my meditation when i was younger. i had the original tr2 cd which played as a music cd
