Room 222 has always been refreshing: Every story is inspirational, show explores life through the lense of academia.

Room 222 was a combination of drama and comedy.

In this episode they talk about the C students and how they represent the happy medium. When I was teaching I remember that being one of my concerns where the students at each end of the spectrum are paid attention too but what would happen if we had the time and resources to spend time elevating those who sit in the middle either through lack of confidence or motivation realising of course you will still have a core group of less academically minded students whose talents may lie in other areas.

Do you know, it's incredibly durable too? My mom has a file box full of mimeographed papers, and when you lift the lid, the scent is wonderful! 🥰
I wonder what they put in that ink!

Remember, if we don't learn anything from history, we will more than likely be repeating what we didn't learn the first time. 😊❤

really enjoying discovering this great show! progressive without being "preachy". Wonder what its reception was like at the time?

It was very well received when I watched it first run as a teen in 1969.

I wish my high school principal had been as awesome as principal Kaufman. My principal was a sadistic military vet. I think he had ptsd or something, but he really was a jerk.

We had a kindergarten class in our high school, back in the 80s. The teachers were high school students, supervised by a kindergarten teacher, and the little kids did so well there was a long waiting list to get into it. Then it was cancelled, for a bunch of reasons that probably included fear of political problems. That's why American schools never get any better.

My high school was not like mr. Kaufman. He had a don't care attitude. Whenever, he sees a problem he looks the other way.
