Hello, i hope you're well. I believe it would be helpful to highlight the fact that the title of this video is referencing a question asked by a young child at the beginning of the Talk. Since buddhism is often considered one of the most followed spiritual belief systems in the world, it is easy to understand how a young child could compare it to other theistic belief systems, and assume that buddhists "worship" the Buddha. Here [12:15] they explain very simply how the Buddha is often considered by many in the practice. Much respect to you 😊

No I never met the Buddha personally. But I have read what he said:
"Do not go by oral tradition, by lineage of teaching, by hearsay, by a collection of scriptures, by logical reasoning, by inferential reasoning, by reflection on reasons, by the acceptance of a view after pondering it, by the seeming competence of a speaker, or because you think, "the ascetic is our teacher."
