Gotta admit I feel better about my enclosed barn with the flat concrete floors now. I used a similar approach with the engine hoist to get the v6 sub frame out. Now I’m to the hard part of removing the lq4 from the chevy van.
Vence (the owner of this trans am) has access to a large enclosed concrete floor barn as well. It's just that all of our tools are here and it's not a total pain to work in the driveway. We definitely need a shop though!
If you guys do s F-body again I saw something that makes sense, when pulling the engine disconnect the bottom of the struts and leave them hanging in the car so your not fighting them trying to put it back in
hopefully y’all see this it’s been a year, but I was wondering what you guys did for the K member bolts, did you just jack the motor up from the back?
